This is a beautiful place to see but….. when you arrive as with all facilities you see independent or assisted living areas. Lovely. Their meals are like a restaurant with a lovely presentation. Their happy hour provided on Fridays are nice with normal sized glasses of wine n beer and snacks in a cute bistro type area BUT if you have a loved one in Memory Care you do not see these lovely amenities. Their happy hour is a dixie cup of soda and a shared lunch bag of chips right before dinner. They are provided a meal of the kitchens choosing which is rolled in and served without any thought. Many times meat uncut Knives are not provided. Drinks are filled but rarely refilled. After much protest it does happen at times. Unlike the independents and assisted living residents the memory care crowd is not provided a choice in food. They just sit and look at look their food if they dont like it. But who cares since they don’t remember. Right?! Many of these residents are to be offered or checked every 2 hours regarding using the bathroom This is not something that is routinely done. Some caregivers do try but they get burned out because their coworkers are busy eating or on their phones It is a physical job and I can see becoming fatigued but it is their job. It is a sad area to those of us who are there and see the everyday. Management always has lofty goals that happen for maybe a few weeks to go back to the old sad normal. I haven’t even touched on the laundry scenarios. Night shift either throws clothes n linens away are doesnt even look at the name tags on the items and just put them in various rooms if the laundry even makes it out of the laundry area. But it is hard to do laundry when this facility put stackable washer n dryer apartment units in I could go on and on as this is just a snippet of what happens or better said “doesn’t happen”. Again this is a lovely looking place But something or someone can look pretty only to be hiding the ugly The state of Missouri inspects and thats a joke. They measure the temperature of soup They do not address the important things. Maybe come at night and see residents put to bed in their clothes and all the other things that happen. Staffing is always great when state is there. But then it changes after. Unfortunately many of those hired are not committed to patient care but is that also a reflection of how management feels as well….??

Toured the building before I brought my dad. Everyone at New Perspective seemed so happy, staff and residents included. They even had us stay for lunch to make sure this was the place. The food and service was amazing. Thank you for taking care of my family.

Buyer Beware- Disappointed with New Perspective in Weldon Springs. Unfortunately, this community has NOT lived up to the promises made during our initial experience with the community. There's constant caregiver staff turnover, poor morale, and clear signs the team is unhappy-and it shows in their customer service. Do your homework, ask how many times State has been in the building!

We recently moved my 97-year-old mother to the New Perspective memory care facility in Weldon Springs, MO, and were thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly attentive and compassionate, making sure every resident felt comfortable and cared for. The facility itself is clean, modern, and inviting, with a range of activities designed to engage and stimulate residents. I especially appreciated the personalized approach to care, ensuring that each resident's unique needs and preferences are met. It's evident that the team truly cares about the well-being of their residents, and I can't recommend this facility highly enough. Five stars!
