North Shore Place

My parents moved back up to the midwest from Florida earlier this year, and we were looking for a place that not only fulfilled their daily requirements, but also had high quality food and a welcoming and warm environment. North Shore Place stood out versus the other options we considered with an ambiance that immediately made it feel comfortable and familiar, relative to the facility my mother had been living in, down in Boca Raton. We definitely made the right choice, and my parents are very pleased overall with their new home and community - highly recommend!

North Shore Place has created a beautiful time in our mom’s life with care, fun and joy from the welcoming staff and all of the vibrant activities, physical and occupational therapy opportunities and support services offered.

Couldn’t ask for a better facility and staff. Everyone was very welcoming and made me and my grandmother feel like family. I will definitely recommend North Shore Place to any friends who are in need of a facility for family members!

I provide monthly musical entertainment at North Shore Place. During each visit, I have been impressed with the quality of interactions between the team members and the residents. Tyler Carlborg (the Director of Resident Programs), Nelson, and various other team members treat the residents with friendliness, respect, and concern for their wellbeing. The environment is beautiful, cozy and clean. I have had conversations with numerous residents who have expressed to me that they are very satisfied with living there. All in all, North Shore Place seems to be a really nice place for senior living.

My mother-in-law is doing very well since moving to North Shore Place over a year and a half ago. She has had some challenges and the staff has been great about tending to basic needs through a couple of crisis. We have every confidence that our loved one is cared for, as are all of the other residents from what we observe. North Shore Place does a fine job of helping the residents feel cared about, from a social standpoint, dining services, cleanliness and keeping the facility bright and clean. Staff is courteous and caring. We’re glad our loved one selected North Shore Place for all the above reasons.
