It's been a while since my parents were in there but the care for my dad especially got bad. His last year during covid I had to take him to the doctor and that's about the only time I could see him because of covid protocols. He wasn't shaven and he had crude under his fingernails. I called the director and asked if I could come clean him up and he said they would take care of it. The next time I took him to the doctor he was cleaned up and shaven. When he died and then a little more than a year later she died some of the things I gave them disappeared, like a boom box I gave them to listen to music on. From time to time other things would disappear, like articles of clothing, which the second shift person who couldn't speak good English wanted to argue with me it wasn't her and all I did was ask her about it. Their alarm clock went missing and so did an indoor outdoor thermometer. I will say that Sharon on the day shift was wonderful. I really loved her and she seemed to truly care.

This facility takes incredible care of my uncle! They are concerned and caring. Very clean and professional place.

Transferred my 94 year old hearing and vision impaired loved one to Oaks from a much more expensive, less caring facility. Have done multiple surprise visits and he has always been well attended to, I can see comments staff have written to him on dry erase boards, they know his preferences and take the time to treat him in a loving caring way. He has even made friends! In addition to that, it is very easy to get in touch with the Director and nurses for any questions or preferences I may have. The garden, which is easily accessible is beautiful. This place is a hidden gem. I only wish we had found it sooner!

I can't say enough good things about the Oaks at Tucker. They take such good care of the residents and provide a family- like atmosphere. The residents are engaged, active and vibrant. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist with care for the residents. If you are looking for the perfect home for your loved one, I highly recommend Oaks at Tucker.

The Oaks was a pleasant surprise for us as we were deciding where our relative (who has dementia) was going to live. Courtenay, Deborah and others were very welcoming, the assisted living community spaces are bright and well maintained. Activities and dining are also a plus. Highly recommend!
