Thank you Oak Pointe for hosting a great grandparents day with tye-dye t-shirts and pizza party. I personally enjoyed being a part of our community to where our families are always welcomed in.

We paid $2,000.00 deposit for my Mom to move in, but then when she couldn't move from St Louis (her doctor did not advise it) Oak Pointe of Neosho would not give us the money back. This was right before Mark Williams died who worked there. We have tried many times to get our money back, even left messages for the director. My Mom's cancer had returned and she was awaiting surgery. Don't give them your money unless you are sure a move will work out for your love one. We felt pressured to go ahead and give the money, and now they won't even return our calls. This was during the COVID recovery too in 2021 & early 2022.

If you are looking for a place for your loved one or a place for you to comfortably retire Oak Pointe Neosho needs to be on your list. The Administrative staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding. Every time I walk into the building members of the floor staff have greeted me with a smile and asked how they can help. Overall the building is always clean, and is gorgeous!!! A constant calendar of fun activities to keep you busy and make new friends.

We thought Oak Pointe was going to be a great place for my mother in law to live. It was at first. However, six weeks after moving there she fell and broke her hip. After two months in the hospital and rehab, we were assured she was ready to return to Oak Pointe. Upon the director leaving, which we did not find out about until weeks after, a new person came in named Rhonda Hendrickson. She was from corporate. At a meeting of memory care families, we were guaranteed that Oak Pointe was an "age in place" facility where my mother in law would stay until she passed. Two weeks later, we were asked to come for a meeting to discuss some changes in her care plan only to be blindsided by them with a 30 day notice that she needed to leave. As if that was not enough, we were threatened by Ms, Hendrickson that they would turn her out immediately. We opted to move her to Granby House. We were terrified that she would not live through yet another move and we were right. After being at Granby house 14 days, she passed away this morning. I want this information out there so people know that you cannot trust what those at Oak Pointe tell you. We asked before moving her back there if they were sure she could live there and the answer was yes. We asked again at the first meeting and were told they "guaranteed" she could stay there. They lied. Their word is useless. Be aware of this before your loved one moves to this facility!
