My grandmother was here and broke her hip. She was sent out to rehab and I was assured that she could return after. I had made arrangements at the skilled care facility she was in for rehab. She returned and not even TWO weeks later they told me she needed to be moved back to skilled care. They sent her out to the hospital and refused to let her return after. I tried to send her back to the skilled care facility and they refused to take her after the charge at Oak Point accused them of trying to take their resident. She ended up in a nursing home in Troy and dying a month and half later. I will say the staff cna/na there love their residents and do the best they can but management needs much improvement. I would not recommend.

We know many family and friends whom have had great experiences at Oak Pointe. My own experience is nothing short of wonderful. Having attended events, volunteered and even worked in the building... I have witnessed how truly amazing the staff is and just how much they care about their residents. Dedicated and professional. Warm and caring. I have witnessed the community come together to support one another in triumph and in loss. You are treated like family. The residents genuinely love and respect one another. They are vibrant, active and hoot to be around! The building is big, yet the community is small. This is country living at its best. There are activities every day. Plus there are social events, Holiday and birthday celebrations. Oak Pointe is strongly supportive of the Veteran, Firefighter, Ambulance and Law Enforcement communities in-and-around Warren County. If you or your loved one are looking for Assisted Living and/or Memory Care; I highly recommend Oak Pointe of Warrenton. ~Lloyd Denton

It seems like a simple thing, but I am so grateful to Rachel for answering my call. During The COVID-19 pandemic, I had been in search for a facility who would care for my mom. Frustratingly so, many facilities not only wouldn’t answer the phone but they would not return calls. Social workers would tell me that they would accept my mom and then after receiving nurses notes they were unable to accept her...but not one facility called to let me know. I was sad and scared when I finally found Oak Pointe. Rachel put me at ease and made me feel hope when I thought all hope was lost. My mother needed a skilled care facility, and even though Oak Pointe is not licensed for skilled care I believe they could meet her needs. Bureaucracy would not allow the transfer from her current facility to Oak Pointe. However, I still have their number and if things do not work out in Mom’s current placement I will not hesitate to call Oak Pointe. Thank you!

My great aunt is at Oak Pointe and we love the place! They keep their seniors active and make them feel as if they are still part of the community. Everyone is so friendly and the place is always clean. We could not have chosen a better place for her. Thanks!

My Mom has been here for two years and loves it here. The staff is the same as it was on day one for the most part. The residents are treated with respect and there is good interaction between the staff and residents. They also have fun activities for them and try their best to get everyone involved!
