OAKS AT OAKLAND PLANTATION

This assisted living facility provides a warm, welcoming environment that truly feels like home. The staff are incredibly compassionate and attentive, treating each resident with dignity and respect. The variety of activities and social events keeps everyone engaged and connected. It gives me peace of mind knowing my loved one is safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy here- Jordan!

Both my parents, Alice and Herbert Hendley were at the Oaks for a few years before I moved them in 2022 to be closer to me. There are some very dedicated, kind and caring folks, who do their best with the situation given. That said, I would urge anyone who decides to place an aging family member at the Oaks to be sure to put cameras in all the rooms and make sure all jewelry is kept in a safe. My brother was in charge and these things which were not taken care of. As a result, when I moved my mom and dad, there was no sign of any of my mother's fine jewelry. It was all gone!! My father expressly stated he wanted to be buried with his wedding ring but even that was missing. I think it is absolutely appalling that these treasures they worked all their lives to obtain were taken from them. They both passed away within months of moving to their new location and I miss them terribly.

The Oaks at Oakland Plantation is a wonderful place. We moved my mom here after having countless issues at The Phoenix in Albany. It was the best move we could’ve made. All of the directors and management are on the ball and they genuinely care. Amy was wonderful to deal with. She really helped us make the transition and she answered when we couldn’t get in touch with anyone else. My experience touring the Oaks at Oakland Plantation was nothing short of amazing! Amy did a fabulous job showing us around and spent a lot of time making sure that all of our questions were answered. Amy is the epitome of customer service and has such a kind heart towards the elderly. Even though the Oaks won't work for my father's needs, Amy took the time out of her weekend to stop by and visit with my father at the rehab facility and took him his favorite home-cooked meal of rutabagas. He was in heaven! Not many people would go to such lengths to visit with someone they don't know. Amy goes above and beyond in her role and is a true asset to any organization that is lucky enough to have her on board.

Amy was great! She showed us around your beautiful facility and we were impressed. Amy answered all of our questions and gave me information about transport for my stepmother. Amy went beyond our expectations. She is a real asset to The Oaks.
