ORION STAR PCH

My Brother-in-Law was fortunate to live at Orion Star for about 10+ years. Our family looked for several weeks to find a great space where he would be taken care of medically and emotionally. Orion Star was highly recommended by a medical professional. The care he received was excellent, as well as the emotional support he received. The care providers were always present, alert, comforting and kind. We could not have found a more perfect situation for him. The patience and steadfast medical care and concern were everything we expected. We loved them! We would recommend them to any family looking for a great transition from their home to a space where they can thrive in the environment. Rosalind and Sam were always receptive to any needs we had. They provide a loving, safe space for loved ones.

Wonderful, family atmosphere, where my brother-in-law lived the last three years of his life. One of 2-3 caregivers is there round the clock with the four male residents, providing watchful oversight, medication administration, meals and snacks, assistance with ADLs and hygiene, laundry, intervention in medical emergencies (which he had several times as a result of a chronic illness), friendship and hugs. The recreation therapist is available several times a week. My BIL had a private bedroom and shared bathroom. The bedroom was small, but plenty of room for him, since there is quite a bit of shared living space, including a back patio and a front porch where he watched the hummingbirds and hawks and enjoyed the flowers in the garden. The owner/director has a background of critical care nursing and is very hands on. Our family definitely recommends Orion Star PCH!
