As both an oncology clinical social worker, a former hospice social worker, and the niece of a man recovering from multiple CVAs and living with early-stage dementia, I see care from several dimensions. I am deeply grateful for the way Monica, the owner of Our Rising Angels Personal Care Home, cares for my uncle as if he were her own family. The Bible says, “What you have done for the least of these, you have done unto me,” and that spirit is truly reflected in her work. Whenever I call or check in, Monique welcomes my questions with patience and never makes me feel like a burden. I consistently find the home to be safe, clean, and filled with genuine compassion. Most importantly, I know my uncle is receiving excellent care. Our Rising Angels Personal Care Home is my place to go for Respite care for my brother, AJ who suffers from both physical and mental difficulties: physical due to 2 strokes and mental due to dementia. The personal care home came highly recommended by a very capable and experienced Licensed Social Worker who frequent the home visiting patients. She provided the name and phone number of the owner, Ms. Monique. I called and scheduled a visit. After visitation to the home, I was able to leave my brother September 5-8, 2025. The place was very spacious, clean, and free of odor. Immediately, I knew this was the place and space that I felt comfortable to leave my brother and be assured that he would be well taken care of. What I like most about Ms. Monique and her staff, is how they demonstrated love and compassion toward me and my brother. The room assigned to him was very accommodating: bed with safety rail; a dresser, a large sitting chair with foot rest and a large flat screen TV mounted on wall. AJ seemed to enjoy his stay. This makes me feel good having to leave him and to know that he feels welcome like family in Monique's care. We look forward to next stay. I would recommend "Our Rising Angels Personal Care" for your loved one.

I absolutely love this place. They go over and beyond to provide excellent service. They took my loved one in with no questions and I don't worry at all about him being in their care. Monique is always there to answer my questions and calm my nerves. She goes over and beyond to make sure he is well taken care of. Jessica will call our family back on his cellphone so that we can speak to him. Irene and Norah are excellent caretakers. I always feel like I am visiting family when I go there. I would not choose any other place.

I truly can’t thank Monique and the staff at Our Rising Angels for taking care of my mother. My mother has been suffering from Dementia and needs an enormous amount of specialized care. Not only do they care for her, they are calm and understanding. They have been professional, informative and patient, all while reassuring me that patients with Dementia need special care. I want to thank them for removing the burden and stress I felt while trying to navigate how to care for my mother in what has become her “new normal “.
