OVERLOOK GREEN

I have visited Overlook Green on several occasions and each time I am more and more impressed! The community is bright and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and you can see they are all truly happy to be there. The Exective Director and the Director of Wellness are very attentive and care about the residents and team members to which they lead. I highly recommend!

My mother-in-law was being discharged from the hospital and we had to find a suitable facility because she was unable to go back home. The Director of Nursing, Chrissy, came out that day, and 3 hours later she was accepted. Now she has been a resident here for a little more than a year. I can't say enough good things about this facility! Clean, spacious, homey, lots of wonderful resident activities, music programs, therapy pet visits (even a miniature horse!), friendly staff, and both the Sales Admin Jill, and Chrissy, the Director of Nursing, are kind and really care about the residents and their families, and lines of communication are open if there is ever a problem, which they work with you to correct. And cost wise, this facility beats others in keeping costs affordable for this level and high quality of care! I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place for yourself or your loved one!

Following a hospital visit it became clear that my mother, who was in the advanced stage of Alzheimer’s, required care that could no longer be provided at home. My family and I were not sure where to turn. An on-line search brought us to Overlook Green. We met with Jill (Sales Admin) and Chrissy (Director of Nursing), and my mom became a resident within 48 hours. They worked with us to put our minds and hearts at ease and keep our costs within our budget. Overlook is bright, clean, and designed to feel like home. I cannot say enough about my mom’s excellent care and how kind and compassionate all the staff were during her brief stay. I highly recommend Overlook for anyone seeking care for their loved ones.

I took a tour of Overlook Green on 11/29/23 for my mother who was being discharged from the hospital. This was just for a short term stay to have my mom adjust from hospital to home. The facility was very nice and had a warm atmosphere and the staff was inviting and friendly. My mother decided she just wanted to go home and receive her therapy there. I still wanted to write a review as Jill Loeffler, Sales Director, took the time to show me the facility and to explain everything I needed to know regarding the care my mom would receive. The last three weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions, and I can say at the very least I had some weight taking off my shoulders. Jill was very understanding and made me feel at ease about the whole process as it is a very difficult decision for family members to make. I am giving this review 4 stars because I can only base my review at this time on the interaction with Jill, the staff and the tour itself.

##2 year update:## My mom is well taken care of and the staff is very friendly and caring and do a great job. She comes to my home for the day and dinner one day each weekend and is genuinely happy. I am very glad I chose Overlook Green to provide the personal care she needs. She's very happy, comfortable and still maintains some independence. ## My mom has been a resident at Overlook now for about two months now. The difference in her has been night and day. She always compliments how nice everyone is there and how wonderful the food is. She has gone through quite a transition and I hope this helps all who read this...it was a great decision. I visit often and have never witnessed anything other than compassion and care. She has her independence again with the van taking her to and from her appointments and has nothing but good things to say about Ed, the driver. Great work, Overlook!
