I moved my Mother in to Parc from Sterling Estates, which was much more expensive and a much lower value. I won't go so far as to say Sterling Estates was a toxic environment, but when compared to the "over and above" friendly service we now enjoy at Parc, it's clear Parc is in the Assisted Living industry, whereas Sterling Estates was not ... they were an investment-held profit center and every decision they made to that end. I wish my vocabulary was strong enough to explain the emotionally-gratifying and comfortable feeling I now get just walking in the doors at Parc. We're in our second year there and the human interaction with the Staff and Director is second ... to ... none. Old-school values, genuine concern, consistent follow up, a pro-active mindset, always looking to improve, numerous engaging activities and entertainment for all levels of care, ... the list goes on. If nothing else, my experience with Parc at Piedmont has served effectively as to completely expose the MDJOnLine "Best of Cobb" program as a "buy your way in" program. Sterling has one it every year, yet they're not even a player in the game. MDJOnLine is engaging in a very risky business advising people make life-altering adjustments based on their recommendations ... without actually researching or even understanding those they recommend. I have a great deal of contempt, as anyone would for the effect they had on my family. During our tenure with Sterling Estates, we called their office to report a mold issue. They told us we should call maintenance instead. No phone number, no idea how to call them, but they made it clear it was our job, not theirs. INSIDE OF 20 MINUTES, I received a text from them asking us to give them a 5-star Google Rating. By comparison, while boarding Parc at Piedmont's elevator one day, I noticed a nail protruding from the woodwork and called it to the attention of one of the nurses. I made my trip to the store and when I got back ... 10-12 minutes later ... it was fixed. Want to come to have Christmas Dinner with your loved one? They'll set a space for you ... any YOU ARE WELCOME! At Sterling Estates, it cost me $25. In fact, before every Holiday Season, Sterling sends out a notice to all guests saying it's acceptable to tip their service staff. Need your loved one checked on frequently? At Parc, I see on the average of 5 nurses roaming the halls each visit. The most I've seen at Sterling was one. They wait in an office at the end of the hall to respond if you call them. Also, the three times we had to use the panic button, it didn't ... we had to run down to the front desk. They blamed the buttons. Had three major concerns at Sterling I brought to the Director's attention. Never heard back on any of them. Had two concerns at Parc I brought to their attention. One turned out to be a misunderstanding on my part, and they actually included me in developing a solution for the other. You're starting to see a patter here, but please understand, I'm here to bash Sterling, although that in itself is an admirable service. No, I'm just trying to let you know YOU SHOULD expect to deserve MORE THAN the service you want along with the comfort level the average Joe expects from a Service Facility such as an Assisted Living Center. Ironically, as the one financially responsible for my Mom's accommodations, IT IS THE FAMILIY who is the customer. And in my case, a very HAPPY customer, willing to offer any testimonial you like. When I go to pay rent each month ... I bring a bag of Dove's Chocolates and hand them out to as many of the staff, nurses, cooks, servers and so on as thanks. If you read between the lines on that, it tells you everything you need to know. The Director, has my phone number, and permission to give it to anyone who needs a candid, honest conversation with a current customer. Thank GOD for people like Parc at Piedmont. The deliver their guests a great service ... and their guests' families' great piece of mind. Tell the Homer sent you.

I love Park at Piedmont. My sister has been living there for over three and a half years, and Dawn, the manager, built an amazing front desk staff, along with an incredible wait staff. Excellence is practiced at the Parc. I highly recommend Park at Piedmont. Today I met their sales representative, Krista McClain. If you are looking for independent living or assisted living, you need to meet with Krista. She is a book of knowledge and will help you in your search. Even if Park at Piedmont is not the best opportunity for your loved one, she lend clarity to your search. She is terrific!

We love our new home! Everything is just perfect. The Parc at Piedmont staff members are the very best...so kind, friendly and helpful. We were greeted by the residents who welcomed us with smiles and information. Our 1st month here has been amazing! The activities are wonderful - creative and fun and the food is sooo good! This place, these people...the best senior living.

The excellence and quality at Parc at Piedmont are second to none. I am an entertainer there and the residents are always truly happy and joyful especially at musical events and gatherings! We have a fabulous time singing and dancing to the hits we all remember! Kiara especially is a wonderful Wellness and Engagement Director and is a pleasure to work with. She keeps the entertainment flowing and everyone's spirits lifted! I highly recommend Parc at Piedmont if you are considering it!
