PHOEBE BERKS VILLAGE

I LOVE living at Phoebe Berks! It's so easy to make new friends, to make your apartment your new home, to select your dinner from a delicious dinner menu, and to walk around the perfectly maintained exterior or interior spaces. When I had a dog, we loved walking along the sidewalk by the woods and into our private woods and now with my cat, I walk three miles a day by walking the second floor of the apartments nine times. My cat loves the deep windowsills and sits in them all day long. I can go in and out and never disturb her intent gaze. Do I have my fenced-in yard or two car garage? No. but when the weather changes and it snows, a staff will shovel out your car and clean it off after they plow the streets and driveways. There are always changes when you move and there are changes moving here, but for the better. Every time.

This is a wonderful community with excellent leadership. The Executive Director genuinely values residents and their loved ones, taking in to account their needs and feelings. Phoebe Ministries is a great company that values all employees, and you can feel the support at Phoebe Berks. I recommend this community if you are looking at options for Senior Living and Senior Care.

My father stayed for 2 weeks to help regain his strength after 2 consecutive falls. The nurses were wonderful. They treated the patients, including my dad, with utmost respect and kindness. The OT and PT were extremely helpful in providing us with feedback and in guiding my dad to reaching attainable goals. Thank you all for your professionalism.

We are pleased to be living at Phoebe Berks. We love our apartment, the food selection and quality has been excellent and programs/activities keep us busy. We are anxious to start the new exercise program as it is scheduled.

My mom's been a resident at Phoebe for 2 yrs now. She was transferred from the memory care unit to the health center. She fell while in their care. This new unit is understaffed. They allowed my Mom to sit in wet depends for 3 hrs after repeatedly telling the staff she needed help. I am not confident that she's getting the therapy she needs to walk again either. They are giving her training on how to eat which she doesn't need. Very frustrated! But they are happy to charge $500 a day!
