The team at Phoenix at Roswell is outstanding. They are very attentive and on top of all of their residents needs. They have a beautifully renovated building as well, that makes you feel like the A+ care that’s given is in a warm, cozy, and immaculate place to call home.

Marty and his team at Phoenix at Roswell have been an amazing asset as we had to move my mother into memory care. I wouldn’t have been able to navigate this process without their excellent assistance.

Phoenix staff has become our extended family. Mom was at Phoenix a few years ago and now Dad requires memory care. Everyone is very patient and kind to our Dad. Families of residents are always encouraged to involved and be part of the Phoenix family.

My sister has stayed with our mom for a few days and each meal the food is cold and the temperature in the common area is freezing. The chef needs to come out and eat the cold food he/she serves the residents. They post an activities calendar however there are no activities. We heard they fired 3 activities directors in 6 months. The facility is freezing during the day and hot at night.

Staff is rude, dishonest, and doesn't care about their clients. My mother has been there for almost 2 years. She is constantly dirty ( Oily hair), kept alone in her room for long hours, and isn't allowed to talk with her family. I've seen staff yell at other in home members for no reason (my mothers room mate last time I was there was told to shut up, we've fed you, no you cant get out of bed right now, fine I'll be right back to get you out. then left them with this poor soul calling for help.), I've seen them ignore someone who is calling for attention, telling them that they would be right back and go outside and sit in common area on their phone or watching tv. We have been lied to multiple times by staff about why my mom can't talk on the phone. We have caught them in lies when they said that handed my non verbal mother the phone only to find out that they in fact left it in an empty room. Last night they called me looking for Shirley, scared me to death due to the fact my mothers name is Shirley so how did they lose her... nope they didn't they just didn't know her name. AFTER 2 YEARS THEY DIDN'T KNOW HER NAME?!?!? Ive have voiced my concerns the management only for them to tell me they don't have 10 mins a day to give my mother one on one. 1,440 minutes in a day and they can't spare 10. Every time I visit staff is sitting around doing nothing. They lie about their phone lines not working properly, however they can spend my mothers hard earned money on new flooring that they don't need vs. a working phone line that would be beneficial to the community. A few weeks ago my mom wasn't secured properly in her wheel chair. staff called me about her falling but was clearly laughing about it on the other line, granted my mother wasn't hurt but how rude and disrespectful can you get? I would HIGHLY recommend taking your loved ones elsewhere!
