PINE VALLEY AT THE WOODLANDS

My mother has lived at Pine Valley Assisted Living near Arnold for over two years, and we have been very satisfied with the care she has received during that time! Emily and her team are very caring and professional in addressing the needs of the residents. My mother is a fairly high functioning person despite suffering from progressively-worsening dementia, and the staff treats her and interacts with her accordingly. Both the staff and I understand that this condition requires a certain level of patience (and repetition), and I feel that she generally receives that level of care, with the staff enlisting family support as necessary. Care facilities such as Pine Valley all experience some level of turnover, but I believe that the modest amount I’ve observed hasn’t negatively impacted the continuity of care. PV may not have all the bells & whistles of some facilities, but the environment is a good fit for my mother, and has set her up for success as her world continues to shrink.

Would not recommend this place at all. Understaffed and doesn’t serve the residents, don’t understand what they think the definition of ASSISTED is because they were never happy to assist our dad. Kitchen staff were great.

My mother-in-law used to be a resident there. She had to move to Woodlands as she needed more assistance. During her 1.5 year stay, she was treated extremely well. Emily, the manager was awesome. I personally loved the staff. I miss them since we no longer are there. It's clean, friendly and the food was good. They dealt with many issues my mother-in-law presented and handled them with care. I would definitely recommend Pine Valley.

My mother is in very good hands at P.V. She is content with her living arrangements, and she loves the food. Any questions or concerns are immediately answered by Emily. Emily is very good at communicating with our family.
