The staff is very friendly and helpful! I eat 3 meals a day and the food is very good! They do a good job of keeping the community clean and fresh. If I need anything they are very responsive. I also enjoy the company of the other residents. The facility is close to anything I need to go to, especially Wal-Mart and the post office. I would highly recommend Prairie Hills to anyone looking for a new home!

Prairie Hills is a great facility. My mother was there 6 years before she passed from Alzheimers. The staff was great then and it is still a great facility. I believe the staff genuinely cares about the residents. Would definitely recommend it to families.

My dad has been at Prairie Hills at Independence for quite a while now, and it has truly become his second family. He’s so grateful he’s never alone and so am I. The staff takes such personalized, thoughtful care of him, which gives this daughter a huge sense of relief when I can’t be there. They are my eyes and ears, communicate well, and treat him with dignity and kindness. Our family is incredibly thankful for the peace of mind they provide every day.

I have been here at prairie hills for 7 months now and find it like an extended family living, with all my old friends that growed up with Play basketball with worked with. They work very hard at trying to make it the best day for you and try to accommodate you with your special needs that you may have. The staff is very helpful with any problems The workers always have a smile on their face making it feel more like home, if you're looking for an extended care facility I'm fairly certain you would be well satisfied with prairie hills

Prairie Hills has been great with my father-in-law's well-being. The rooms and community areas are all very nice and make one feel very welcome. He is getting all the help he needs to have everyday comfort. There are many activities for the residents as well. I would recommend Prairie Hills to any family who wants their loved one to get the assistance they need as they age.
