Primrose of Decatur

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Primrose and the staff. My Father was living at another facility and he required a little more care. Margaret Miller was an absolute angel helping getting my father moved to Primrose. I was traveling, and she made the process seamless for our family. Once my father arrived, he was welcomed with so much love and acceptance. The facility has so much to offer and he was thrilled to spend the end of his life at Primrose. He loved the food and the nursing staff. If you have any hesitation on Primrose, please take a tour, they were 5 star for us!

Primrose staff, from Leslie the executive director, Margaret the sales manager, Lea the activities director, the financial manager through to the housekeeping staff are the best in the business! They cared for not only my mother but for our entire family. They made the process of moving in and moving out seamless. I need to also mention that Dan, head of maintenance, went above and beyond to move and install stackable washing machine and programmed the TV remote multiple times! Highly recommend Primrose as a great place and environment for our parents!

There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude for the loving care Mom received during her years at Primrose. Primrose was not simply her residence, it was her home. The loving care she received, the extra miles on her behalf and the peace of mind given to us has truly been a Godsend. It's the little things, that aren't so little, like making sure Mom had earrings on each day because that was important to her, that make PR a special place. I am forever grateful.

My mom has been at Primrose for over 3 years and I couldn’t be happier with the care she is receiving! She has Alzheimer’s and always feels loved and cared for by the staff. I have relied on them more to keep her happy and safe during this unusual Covid year and they have done a fabulous job! Yesterday, they thanked me and other families and friends with some cocoa, cookies and a Santa and Grinch visit! They deserve the Thanks! ❤️

My mother has been staying at Primrose as a respite patient since she fell in December. She has been recovering nicely due to the care and attention that she has received at Primrose. All of the staff are so pleasant and friendly. Their positive attitude is infectious and my mother has enjoyed the social contact as much as the physical attention that has been shown to her. I would recommend this facility highly because the environment is beautiful, well kept, and offers many amenities. Meals are well planned, offering good variety and very tasty. An overall great place to be!!!
