Promenade at Blue Hill

Choosing a place for our mom to go was filled with anxiety and guilt. We visited countless facilities until we arrived at Promenade at Blue Hill. This is a home. Filled with support and warmth and patience. We were so worried how this transition would go but my mom is filled with happiness. She has new friends and is always busy. She loves the access to both indoor and outdoor spaces and is always excited for the next day. The staff are amazing and create a warm welcoming place for all of us. From someone who has worked in healthcare for 30+ years, I could not be more relieved to have found a place that feels safe and happy.

My mom has been a resident of The Promenade for nearly 2 months. Moving her into an assisted living was a difficult and emotional decision for me, Sally Ann made the whole process easy for me and my family, from then first telephone call I placed to meeting her and getting a tour of the facility, I knew it was the place for my Mom. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed the second you step into the door. Amanda is the first to give me updates of my Mom’s day and always goes the extra mile to make sure my Mom is happy and comfortable. My Mom is thriving and has adjusted very well thanks to the entire staff at The Promenade. I can’t thank them enough for making this process a pleasant one. I can rest my head on the pillow at night knowing that she is in good hands.

My mom lived here for almost two years and we both loved it. The facility is clean and beautiful, secure but with a homey feel. Residents can spend time outside when they wish without supervision in the enclosed garden and patio spaces. The activity program is amazing and kept my constantly busy mom occupied all day long, every day with fun and stimulating games and projects. Best of all the staff is caring, attentive and patient. We were blessed to have found them.

My mom has been at Promenade at Blue Hill for almost 2 years. The staff is amazing. So caring and attentive. All through Covid, they made sure the residents were safe and had opportunities to still participate in activities with the utmost thought to keeping them healthy. Since life has returned to normal, there are a variety of social gatherings, with fantastic themes. Many different enriching activities each day. There's something for everyone. Because Promenade is a smaller facility, everyone knows mom and her personality. They know how to bring out the best in her and when she's a little down, (common among widows/widowers) they do whatever they can to make her feel better. I'm convinced it's because they know her as a person, not a resident of a room #. Bright and airy common spaces and lots of positive energy. It's that way because my family and the staff at Promenade are a team that work together to do the best for mom.
