Radford Green

A family member ( L. Ricafrente) was here for rehab. He came from the Hospital and was weak. He was taken good care by CNA Fola, and Physical Therapist Jimmi and Farrah and the assigned Nurses. We would like to thank Jimmi, Farrah and Fola for the excellent care they gave him. 5 star for the whole staff. By Romeo

Cindy and Nick were my mom’s therapists and they were great — honestly every therapist was very caring and competent. Cindy works her tail off and Nick as well. My mom would joke she has the two best looking people working with her. Hopefully my mom doesn’t have to get into another rehab stint however if she does I would return. Nursing care was good too.

Therapy was amazing. Once they know the patient, they push them. She walked after not doing so for a year and a half. Only thing I would recommended is to have scheduled times early in the day and separate the therapy sessions. CNA’s were amazing. Again they got to know mom and got her comfortable. Didn’t have a lot of time to hang out but were great at their jobs. Daytime ones excellent. Most overnight were very competent. Nurses were so sweet and totally on top of their responsibilities! As the daughter, I felt I could be at my job and she was getting the best care possible. Always good to stop in regularly. I feel patients get more focus when family members are around no matter where they are for rehab. Liz, Jesus, Cecilia, Lorena, Beata, Tonian, Celina-thank you for all you did. Finally, the front desk staff was always welcoming!

Therapy department does not give both enough or good therapy. Very disappointed with the therapy by grandma received while her then they cut her off from any more therapy after 2 weeks and discharged her. We couldn't take care of her at home and she was badly in need of therapy. Someone suggested Claridge nursing home in Lake Bluff which we admitted her to and has since been a God send.

I recently stayed at Radford Green after a back surgery. I had stayed there before after a hip replacement and I knew it was the place for me. I especially want to thank Elizabeth, my physical therapist, Jesus , my CNA and Beata my PM nurse. They took very good care of me. Beata went above and beyond in her care. From changing the dressing on my incision to contacting the doctor till she finally got to speak with him. I thank you. I highly recommend Radford. And if I ever need this kind of care again I’ll definitely choose Radford.
