Placed my mother in law in this facility back on 12/22. She had severe dementia symptoms. We went to see her today and she is 100 times better than she was on 12/22. Being surrounded by a great staff and facility made a huge difference. Mom likes it here and we do not have a problem with her being upset that she has to stay when we leave her. Very happy with Legend !!! UPDATE - Place has been good for our mom, but two rate increases in 13 months is getting out of hand.

After an exhaustive search and many sleepless nights, we found Legend Memory Care at Rivendell — and I can say that it was the best decision we could have made. Sammy, Cheri, and Sarah, the incredible sales directors, were with us every step of the way. They didn’t just give us a tour — they gave us their time, their hearts, and their understanding. They answered every question, listened to every concern, and made us feel like family before we ever moved in.

CNA staff was outstanding when my mother was a resident. (Feb 2024 to Mar 2025) The nursing supervisor during that period was amazing. She and the staff always provided care as if it was for a friend not a stranger. Acknowledging that geriatric care is an incredibly hard profession, I could not have asked for better. I Cannot say enough about the Memory Care manager l, Greg Hendrix, dedicated to his residents does not come close. He, personally, helped me move Margaret from a Memory care facility, whose care proved to be unacceptible. Margaret's husband passed while in their care. Greg always seemed to be there whenever I visited Margaret. His charm and warmth proved that I had made yhe right decision by choosing Legeng MC fir Margaret's care. She loved it there. She loved the staff she loved the holiday parties. We have photos of her with a Mardi Gras mask. She was so happy. By now you know that this is a place that your loved one can be cared for without your worrying. As always a facility is only as good as the staff. I hope nothing changes , because Legend is as flood as it gets

The minute we entered Legend Memory Care, we knew found THE PLACE for Mom. We were welcomed by the loving staff , and made the entire process easy and gave us peace of mind with the tough decisions we were having to make. The move in process was seamless. So much help from the maintenance staff to get Moms room set up to look like home. Hats off to the entire staff of Legend. Truly feels like family❤️

My loving mother was a resident at Legends for 14 months, myself and my family are so grateful for the outstanding care and compassion she received. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and understanding of the residents and family needs during this difficult time. The facility was very clean and set up extremely well for residents and family visits with very comfortable and friendly common areas and courtyard. I would highly recommend Legends memory care to a loved one in need of the special care, activities, and thoughtfulness they provide.
