Randall Residence of Decatur

We have been very happy with Randall Residence. Everyone was so patient as we got all of the documents together to get my father-in-law signed up as a resident. His apartment was spotless and had just had new carpet installed. They have been great about helping him adjust to this next stage of life - introducing him to other residents, encouraging him to participate in activities and welcoming him to the facility. We have been very happy with everything. Thanks for taking such good care of him!

My dad is a new resident there. He had previously been at Primrose. I have been delighted by the positive difference already. The facility, staff, services and food are excellent! The transition for my dad has been smooth and welcoming. One of the practices that differentiates Randall is the use of ambassadors to help the new resident feel welcomed and to find their way to dinner and social activities. It is a beautiful facility with a focus on quality service and care. And… all this is offered at an a reasonable cost.

As a frequent visitor to Randall Residence of Decatur, I’m always impressed by the welcoming environment and the level of care provided. The staff is friendly and professional, and the residents always seem content and well-cared-for. Randall Residence always plans fun, exciting, and engaging activities their residents. This is a place where dignity, compassion, and community truly come together.

My Mom recently moved into assisted living at Randall Residence in Decatur. The staff were prepared for her arrival and were extremely welcoming. The Director, Beth Bolyard, and her team were all expecting my mom. The whole staff knew her name and had her room ready for moving in. Mom's care started immediately with check-ins from the nursing team and the dietician. The staff also introduced my mom to residents so she could quickly make connections with others and had people to go to activities and dine with. Mom was more than a little nervous about moving into assisted living. Beth and her team were very reassuring and answered all of our questions. Both my mom and I were impressed with the facility and my mom especially appreciated the outdoor space that is maintained for residents. She is looking forward to working in the garden and enjoying all that Randall has to offer. I highly recommend considering Randall in Decatur if you are looking for professionally managed and caring assisted living.

A week ago I moved into Randall. This is a fun crowd. It’s been amazing to connect with other elders with roots in Decatur and Macon County after living in other places for most of my life. I’m settling into a very comfortable apartment, good meals, and fun conversations. This works for me; I think I will hang out here for awhile.
