HIGHLANDS SENIOR LIVING GASTON

The building is a little older, but it’s kept clean and the personnel there are very caring and make it a comfortable atmosphere for all the residents. We visit my brother frequently and he seems extremely happy.

I love the staff and I feel my family member is safe and taken care of. The dr is the absolute best and very patient. He responds to my family quickly and is phenomenal with all the residents. They have many outings for the residents that I would like to go on! They just went to Eudora farms and it looked so fun. Overall the food is good too. I have no regrets for chosing The Highlands for my loved one!

Highlands Senior Living- Gaston is a unique facility that provides assisted living housing and care to individuals in need of the services. I have known Highlands Senior Living to work with many families budgets to meet them where they are. The other reviews about bed bugs and roaches were unfortunately posted by a disgruntled former employee and a group of her friends who have never been to the community. If you are seeking affordable, quality housing and care for a family member, I urge you to visit the community and form your own opinion.

I love Highlands. The people there are amazing. I love the administrator there Mrs Liz Alexander she is very nice and understanding. I have seen so much improvement since she has taken over. Way to go Gaston. Keep going up.

This place has an infestation of BED BUGS. I have complained about this twice. The managers refuse to call the owners and let them know. This is a public health issue and I have reported it the county and the state health boards. The entire building needs to be treated and they think they can just wash sheets and it will go away. The mattresses need to be thrown out and the rooms needed to be professionally treated! If you have a loved one here, please check on them.
