Reed House

I have stopped by the facility a handful of times, and everytime every one is so nice and helpful, the residents really seem to love the place and staff as well. It's really somewhere I could maybe see myself one day.,

I have worked in senior care for the past 30 years and have been involved with many different facilities. Homestead of Dennison stands out for many reasons. Not only is it homey and clean but the care they show their residents is outstanding! I attended one of their community events and the residents were happy and said they loved it there. The staff greeted me and asked who I was there to see. I liked that as it showed me they were protective about who was coming in their home and making sure their residents were safe. I would highly recommend Homestead of Dennison as a place for my loved one.

Back in 2023 we had to make a very hard decision to move my dearly beloved aunt and uncle into an assisted living home. Living in a very small town in Iowa, we didn’t have many choices. I toured a couple different facilities and made the decision to move them into (The Reed Place) now Homestead Assisted living in Denison, Iowa. WOW!!! That was the best decision ever!!! The facility is very nicely decorated and is always fresh and clean. Homestead offers many activities and encourages the residents to participate. They even have church service. Over the first few days, weeks and even months was a trying time for both my aunt and uncle to adjust to their new lifestyle. The other residents and staff were very helpful and supportive and welcomed them with open arms. My aunt and uncle have become very comfortable with their new lifestyle. The amazing staff at Homestead has become part of our family. With the Love, care and support they have for my aunt and uncle, and the other residents is priceless. I’m not sure what I would have done without them. To the staff at Homestead: Thank you for loving my aunt and uncle, and becoming part of our family ❤️

Everyone at Homestead is wonderful. The staff is so loving, thoughtful and conscientious of the care they gave my mother. We are so grateful that mom was there. The residents all seem so content with they surroundings. It's friendly and inviting every time you walk in the door. Please consider this place for your parents, you will not regret it!

The Homestead experience for us has been a blessing overall. My mom has been there just about 2 years now & has had a very good experience. The facility is spotless and generally a happy place. Lots of activities & personal attention by people that really do care.
