My mother moved into Renaissance 2 months ago. The very first thing that struck me was how friendly everyone was. There has not been one time anyone has been unkind no matter what kind of day they were having. The care is exceptional. Although my mother can do many things on her own everyone is there to lend a helping hand. The site is clean and she enjoys the food. Everyone is very encouraging with regards to the activities and she is now starting to take part. When she first moved in we had many questions. Every answer was given with a smile . But the thing that surprised me the most was how accommodating they were. She was too short to see into the bathroom mirror so they put a full length mirror on her wall. The bed was too high so they removed the box spring and gave her a bunkie board. No matter what she asked, it was done. That kind of attentiveness is hard to find. Although it’s only been two months, there is no question in my mind we made the right choice.

Very unprofessional and sub standard compared to other assisted living facility’s in the surrounding area. Bare bones of an assisted living facility with food that is equivalent to what a school cafeteria would serve. They do not offer any professionally printed literature explaining their services etc and their contract is printed from a copier.

My Mother is an independent resident at this facility. She is very comfortable and content with her studio apartment. When I visit with her, it feels like her home away from "home". The staff is friendly, caring, and conscientious.

One of my family members recently moved to Renaissance and I am pleased to report he is very happy. From day one, he felt at home and said everyone was very friendly. The staff went out of their way to make sure he felt comfortable and have been very approachable. He loves his studio apartment. We were able to decorate to make it to make it a very warm homey place. We like that it is small and the staff really gets to know each resident. So far, we feel this was a very good move for him.

I would never take a loved one here ever again. Only cares about the money. I wanted to bring my father home and pay for around the clock care so he could have his dying wish to die in his home and they wouldn't even call me back. They have no empathy just worries about the money. My father lived there three weeks and died in a nursing home 2 months later and they never asked how he was doing, just sent bills to make sure the room was paid for. Won't give back security deposit. This is the worst place ever. They only care about the money because once you sign the lease you never hear from them again until it pertains to money. Shame on this place.
