RIDGECREST PERSONAL CARE & MEMORY CARE

Think twice b4 you send your love ones to this old age prison. First, the food is worse than any hospital food you ever had. Second, if your love ones need help with personal routine (bathroom care & shower they have to sit until they find the time. When they do show up the clean up is terrible. My advise keep looking if you love your parents.

Ridgecrest of McCandless has been a wonderful experience for my family. My father needed a place after having some health challenges. He needed a place that would be able to safely care for him around the clock. A place that has a community of people. Finally, a place that would help him continue to recover. It has exceeded those expectations to date. He is happy and thriving. He is returning to levels of activity that he enjoyed previously. Ridgecrest of McCandless has become a place that he calls home.

Ridgecrest was exactly right for my Mom. She was able to live independently as if in an apartment building but still have support when she needed it. As her condition progressed, she was able to get more help without having to relocate. The staff is very caring, respectful, and attentive. The head nurses are experienced and energetic and really connect with my Mom to encourage her to follow her care plan. As a relative, I felt at ease knowing my Mom could enjoy her apartment and still be safe.

I guess to start this out, good things come to those that wait is the best way to begin. Waiting for Legends to take over the Atria building has been nothing less than better every day! The nursing staff Directed by Kelsi and Tatum assisting is absolutely amazing! I tell them all the time that it makes it so much easier for me to sleep at night, knowing that they are there to take care of my parents needs. Gary and the maintenance team are always there for anything and everything And when I tell you within 24 hours, I mean it. This makes my life easier knowing they are taking good care of my parent's needs. And last, but certainly not least Kelly has changed the atmosphere at that building from one of complete and utter chaos to one that there is a plan and continues to move forward to make it a better place day in and day out! The accountability that she holds her staff too is amazing. I’m so happy that my parents live in this building. Now, but I can tell you, had you asked me this over a year ago my comments would be much different I was looking for another place for them to be!

After researching several AL facilities, my parents made a decision to move to Ridgecrest 3 months ago and we could not be happier with our choice. From the beginning, the transition has been great. The sales team worked with us every step of the way from the application process through the actual move in. The maintenance staff was available and helpful on move-in day and the days after as my parents got situated. The service and quality of meals offered by the dietary team is great. My parents have been treated with much respect by everyone involved in resident care. The nursing team has demonstrated genuine concern for my parents and are excellent with communication. The management team at Ridgecrest is responsive and genuinely concerned with the quality of the resident’s experience. The overall environment of the building is positive and upbeat. I look forward to my visits. I would definitely recommend Ridgecrest.
