River Lodge Assisted Living

My mother stayed at this facility for a month after my stepfather died. She was released and moved back to her home. Since then, an employee of RiverLodge has befriended my mother. I found out that he had taken her to an attorney and encouraged her to name him in a Power of Attorney. Fortunately, I managed to stop her from going through with it. I contacted the facility. Spoke with Mindy about it and she defended him, and denied that it was inappropriate. Only place your loved one here if you have the money tied up tight!

Our experience with River Lodge has been fantastic thus far. I have interacted with Mindy, Tiffany, and Peggy many times and have nothing but great things to say. My parents seem quite happy!

CNAs are helpful. Most RNs are as well. It's hard to talk to senior management however. Head nurse has no personality and doesn't seem to care. Office manager has got yelling down to a science! Trying to reason with her is impossible.

My grandmother stayed at this facility. What a mistake. The director, Mindy, is one of the rudest and uncaring people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.In a time of sorrow once my grandmother passed away, she was very unprofessional and did not treat me with respect. I wouldn't let my dog stay there let alone my loved one. Maybe if she were gone that place would be a loving and caring environment. But until then, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a -20!!!
