Rock Run Place Memory Care

Staff are always positive and pleasant, but there’s one particular person I want to thank so much Betsy. This lady is all over the place, especially how she engage with the residence and the compassion that she has with them is amazing. She a blessing Chayse and Betsy Thank you for Welcoming my grandfather to Eden vista RR. You guys are the best Team together. Nice place cleanliness and outstanding.10 out 10 I definitely recommend Eden Vista Rock Run.

Eden Vista Rock Run is not a place I would recommend for families. Over the years, the facility has significantly declined. Every time I have visited family members there, the environment has smelled unpleasant, and residents do not appear to receive the care and dignity they deserve as human beings. The situation with staff is especially concerning. One employee in particular—Caitlin, a receptionist in the memory care unit—has repeatedly displayed extremely unprofessional behavior, including eye-rolling, rude remarks, and a consistently poor attitude. This kind of conduct is unacceptable, especially in a facility responsible for caring for vulnerable individuals. Considering the high cost families pay to have their loved ones there, Eden Vista Rock Run needs to make serious changes. Families deserve a facility that provides respectful treatment, professionalism, and quality care.

I visited this facility with my group to volunteer and spend time with the residents, and the experience was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautiful, clean, and welcoming the environment was. The staff was friendly and warm, and the administrator Patricia, even reached out personally to thank us for spending our Saturday with their residents. We had a wonderful time with the residents, they even taught us a new way to play bingo, which we loved. I want to give a special thank-you to Robby, the Activity Director, setting up this special day and for his kindness and enthusiasm, and to Patricia for her kindness as well. Their hospitality made our visit truly memorable. It was our pleasure to hang out with the residents Thank you from Giza Supreme Grand Court of Honor.

We looked at a number of facilities, but Eden Vista was the best of them all. Eden Vista’s staff is friendly and efficient. Agnes, Mom’s nurse, is attentive to all Mom’s needs. She goes beyond her assigned duties by helping Mom with toileting. Louann, Activity Aide, is creative and energetic. The dining room staff assists any resident who can not feed themselves. Eden Vista is a great facility for any senior needing a caring place to live.

I’ve been at Eden Vista Joliet for almost two months. I’m here for rehabilitation and learning how to walk again and the Physical Therapy has been very productive. During the stay, the health care associates have treated me with kindness and care. Additionally, the accommodations and food have been very good. In addition to the previous comments, there have been several people on the team that always seem to go out of their way to help and assist however they are able. One person in particular has amazed me with all the areas she supports the staff. I’m not really sure of her title/position but I’ve seen her involved in scheduling, food service, activities, hiring and training, physical therapy, CNA type activities and so much more. I’m talking about Betsy and she is truly one of the stars that makes Eden Vista Rock Run a great facility.
