Do not send your loved-one here. It’s really sad that i have to say this after such a terrible experience for my parent. The administrator cannot keep the staff. There are new aids every week who are not properly trained. If you complain, your loved-one may get retaliation from the staff. They don’t follow health standards except when they know an inspection is coming. Please learn from my family’s error.

Placing a loved one somewhere other than home is difficult. You worry about the care, the food, the cleanliness, and many other things. I can say without a doubt that placing my sister & brother-in- law at Rose Haven has been a blessing. There is peace of mind knowing that they are well cared for. My brother-in-law passed in February 2025. The staff were supportive of family and were compassionate & caring with my sister(who has Alzheimer’s). Our family can rest knowing my sister is in her happy place. Rose Haven is a place I would gladly recommend.

They take wonderful care of my grandma, all of the staff are very nice. My grandma loves the food, staff and she considers everyone there like family.

This place is out for the money- not for making the elders' lives easier/better. This is a Personal Care Home- where legally they can only take in people who are a 1-person assist max. However, they take in people who are a 2 or more person assist. But with the limited staff, it's difficult to provide the level of service the residents need, especially considering the lack of training. I see the 5/5 reviews and assume these people/their loved ones had a positive experience. And that's great! But not everyone has had a great experience.

Rose Haven is a wonderful place for elderly people in their last stages of life. The facility is beautiful, it’s well decorated doing holiday seasons the staff works very hard to accommodate the number of people in the home and my mother was there for many years The facility Is fairly priced for the type of accommodations that they provide. The only concern my mother had over the many years was sometime is the food she felt wasn’t as good as it could’ve been, however with the many types of medication she was on I’m sure her taste buds were being affected by the medication. Also with this type of environment it’s hard to please 30 some people on the type of foods in each one’s particular preference. I would strongly recommend someone looking for a home in the Indiana area consider checking out Rose Haven for their loved ones. The staff works very hard and show loving care here.
