We had a family member spend time at MVT PCC unit twice this year and both times we found it to be an exceptionally good experience. Each & every staff member was competent, pleasant & caring; we never worried that our family member would not receive the care she needed. The “guests” at PCC are encouraged to find community there and also given space for their own recovery. The Director, Afone was particularly responsive & simply made sure things happened well. This is the kind of care you want for your loved ones. Thank you!

My mom is getting great care at the PCC at Mount Vernon Towers. The staff is very responsive and sweet to her. They helped me get a visiting nurse practitioner and pharmacy service also that has been SO CONVENIENT to us.

My mother has been in the PCC twice -- the first time temporarily for one month of recuperation after a fall and rehab and then not too long after, permanently after a second fall. Because her temporary stay was lovely and attentive, when the time came for her to have 24/7 care, there was no hesitation on the part of my brother and me to reserve a suite for her. Afoune and the staff genuinely care for her and our family when we visit. They have accommodated our requests and worked with us filling out forms when it has been a bother! We are grateful!

I cannot express how wonderful the PCC unit at Mount Vernon Towers has been. They have taken excellent care of my brother who had had a stroke and is being moved to Memory Care. Afoune and her staff have met all of our needs for a safe, caring environment. The experience has been beyond our expectations. I am grateful.

My 89 y old mother has lived at MVT PCC for 2 years. She had originally lived in two different condos in the MVT complex and came to PCC after falling end needing help with recovery. She has a one bedroom/ bathroom suite with a separate living area. This size is perfect for her. She is able to eat all of her meals in the PCC dining room or go downstairs to the main dining room if she likes. She has assistance with meds and ADLs yet still has some independence. The PCC manager Afoune is like family to us. She does a great job running the PCC and dealing with the clients and families. Mom is able to attend any and every MVT function or activity she likes and can come and go as she likes. Having her here gives us/ her children piece of mind and she will tell anyone that asks that she loves living here!
