So so impressed with the level of care being given at this facility. Our family members are being treated with so much respect and hospitality, as well as being just taken care of. The days are full of activities to keep them moving and socialized, and the care being provided is outstanding as well as kind. So often our older generation is treated poorly and left to die, but this facility is bringing a new perspective to assisted living and senior care. Thank you to all of the amazing staff, including nurses, cnas, assistants of all kinds, even the janitorial crew was kind to us as they were cleaning. We feel content knowing our family is receiving the best care here.

Shout out to all workers at Fort Bayard Medical Center. When visiting my parents, all I see is hard working employees. They had a July Birthday celebrations with music, cake and ice cream, and they where dancing with the patients. The patients seem to be enjoying the socializing...On the 4th of July outing the staff did a fantastic job on transporting the patients in and out of the van. The patients were enjoying the parade, the staff was walking back and forth to assure that the patients were all okay and if they needed a hat and water. Thanks for all your hard work and caring to employees at Fort Bayard Medical center.πŸ‘πŸ«ΆπŸ‘

Staff is super friendly and kind!. Clean attentive staff. However leadership personnel called w a very discriminate analysis of my service dog then proceeded to apologize to my male neighbor!!!! and never followed up contacting me. Director is too busy to be polite Very discriminatory leadership Certainly not pining away for an apology but gender discrimination is quite clear

The workers are mostly Wonderful, but some of them steal cookies and candy from my helpless mother's tiny desk at night. The doctors often are slow to examine patients with problems. The billing department and the financial department have different records, and send bills sporadically. The price is outrageous, and can be arbitrarily raised (two months in a row!). My mother's social workers have been "too busy" to fill my mother's request to change the Power of Attorney, although they had plenty of time to change it to Ft Bayard's advantage. . The social workers sometimes gaslight her, and refuse to let family members be present in conversations even by phone. Thank God for the activities director, the occupational and physical therapists and food service and janitorial workers, who actually care about the patients.
