Haven at Columbus, The

STAY AWAY! This facility is lacking integrity and accountability. They accepted a large deposit for my wife's care and promised a refund if she never qualified to be a resident. The administrator never performed diligence, my wife did not qualify to be a resident, and our request for a refund has been ignored. Furthermore, the company continues to bill us for an additional 1k+ in addition to the 8.5k they collected up front.

Savannah Grand (run by Ginny Mann) is full of crooks, please do not send your loved one here! We signed a contract in Oct. since we were pressured into reserving "the last room" - and we've never seen a dime of our $8,500 since. Our loved one has NEVER EVEN BEEN to their facility, she was never released from the hospital! She has never put a foot inside the building, yet we are getting MONTHLY bills from Savannah Grand on top of the $8,500 we already paid! We have sent letters to the Ombudsman's office, the BBB, and several other entities, and the BBB sent back a letter stating even they can't get Savannah Grand to respond to the complaint and refund our money. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THESE ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!! They will make promises to get your money, and then the fun really starts. They lied about fees, they lied about the level of care they are able to provide, and the kicker is that they were NOT even qualified to provide the level of care she needed. She had a trach, a feeding tube, and is on a trilogy machine - they absolutely cannot provide the level of care required but lied saying they could, just so they could get our money. They even told us about how they completely refunded a prior residents money because their loved one died before they made it to the facility. Our loved one never made it to the facility either, yet no refund. It is a shame. They are liars and thieves.

We placed our mother here after the staff made us very lofty promises of care and love for their work. They kept their promises throughout our experience. Great "down home" people.

This place has gone above and beyond for my mother. I go by there often and she is always involved in the things happening. She loves the verity of food but especially the fact that they get dessert every day! She always talks about the staff and how caring they are. She tells me that a few of them like to surprise her with treats she enjoys. I have met many of the other families, since moving my mother in and everyone seems pleased. Moving my mother here brought relief to me that I didn't know I needed. Thank you for all you do Savannah Grand. I wish I could do more to thank you for what you do.

I had a great time deejaying at Savannah Grand of Columbus! The staff were very friendly, and I was impressed with the way they cared for their residents. They really made this deejay feel like I was apart of their family!
