Seneca Home Place staff is amazing, They're very caring and attentive to the residents needs. I highly recommend this location for your loved ones. This is a close nit family.

The nursing home is very clean with no odors. It is easily accessible and not too overwhelming. It is not noisy or over stimulating. The staff are very welcoming.

Seneca home place is one of the most outstanding assisted living facilities I’ve ever seen!! Nice clean and very tidy! The employees are awesome and the residents are amazing!! ❤️❤️

Crystal is amazing, the staff are even more amazing if that is possible. We came in under an emergency situation. Our parents were neglecting themselves severely. Not feeding themselves, falling, it was scary and dangerous. I had talked to crystal before as I had been planning on moving them out of their hoarder house just to save them from something really bad happening. Then there was a fall and they didn’t tell us, even though we were on the phone with them. So a place for mom put out an emergency placement for us. Crystal called within an hour. While it wasn’t Carl junction, which was my first choice because it was close to my parents house, she said she had an emergency room in Seneca home place, and when a room opened in Carl junction, they could move. Well, everyone is so nice and friendly and so into helping my in laws, they have decided to stay and see how things turn out with distance from my parents house. They call the residents and staff their family now, and they have only been there 3 weeks. Crystal says if they change their minds, they can still move at next opening. They are still improving amenities. Just the other day crystal was hard at work trying to get a podiatrist in there. They have a doctor there that comes to them. No need to go to an office. There is transportation to Walmart. (It’s not free, they pay to ride. But it is just a phone call for the bus to come by) laundry service is twice a week. 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks provided. Honestly, if they are hungry they tell the nurse, and the nurse will find something for them. Portion sizes are huge. Kitchen staff make amazing comfort food from their own recipes. If you don’t like it, just let them know a bit in advance and they will fix you something else. Snacks are allowed in their rooms. Family can stay and have meals with the residents if they have enough food made up. Please try to let the kitchen and nurses know asap if you wish to do that. Free WiFi is provided. Almost nightly games, including bingo. Birthdays are celebrated with mini parties. Holly is amazing with her part time work as activity director. She is always there doing something for the residents. She came in on Easter to do a Easter event with them. My in laws are not religious, so I don’t have any info on how that works. Residents are allowed their own cars. There is a beauty salon available. Miss Holly is still learning but she’s very eager to help. She also does nails. A pet is allowed! Which is what we needed. My in laws cat is very happy there and totally soiled. Covid precautions are still in effect. So bring a mask if you visit. My only complaint is I wish there was a welcome packet telling new residents all of this. I learned these past 3 weeks. Most of the info is hanging all over the place on bulletin boards. But a welcome packet would be nice for their rooms. All in all this place is crazy friendly. Everyone helps everyone. It’s amazing to see. Nurses are professional and very hard working. managers are hard working and will stay over if their help is needed. Residents are helpful and friendly and easy going. Everyone gets along with everyone. They are a very good natured bunch of people! They really act like a huge family. Thank you for saving my in laws Crystal! And thank you to Seneca Home Place for making them feel so welcomed they didn’t want to leave!

Seneca Home Place is friendly, caring, and the residents are treated like family. Altogether I would recommend this place to friends, family, and strangers. Administrator was patient and answers all questions and made me feel comfortable.
