Seneca Lake Terrace Assisted Living Center

Terrible customer service. They never answer the phone. They never call back. My Grandmother is here and I can tell you they do the bare minimum for their tenants and yet charge $5,000+ a month. It is an absolute joke of a price point based on the treatment she receives, room she has, and the cost of the area in general. We’re currently shopping new options.

Very nice staff

This facility has regular turnover of staff. Poor communication by facility to family members of residents. Facility and staff appear poorly managed. Management is regularly not in the office. Memory care staff appear untrained in how to work with dementia/memory care patients. I have witnessed memory care staff yelling at and arguing with residents. The food is low quality and one glance into the kitchen area leaves one wondering if the food is even safe to eat. The property itself is worn and desperately in need of minor repairs and major updating. Cleaning staff are there- but I see no signs of actual cleaning. The housekeepers bagless vacuum appears to be overfull and probably hasn’t been emptied in months- so it certainly isn’t vacuuming anything up from the floor. Simple maintenance requests can take months to complete. If they say they’ve put in a work order to hang a few pictures on the wall, you’ll have to remind them weekly for months before it gets done in spite of regularly being told, “it’ll be done today”. There have been other incidents that raise concern for my loved ones safety that are too graphic to discuss here. I worry about my loved ones safety and well being while he lives in this facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone unless their only other option is homelessness.

Poor mgt, unorganized facility, major lack of communication off with your head mentality if you dare speak your mind
