SERENITY GARDENS AT MOUNT CARMEL

Our experience with Serenity Gardens was wonderful. I hated having "the conversation" with my aunt when it became clear that she no longer could live alone. My house wasn't an option due to the stairs. Aunt Ruth knew it. Thank God she was receptive to the idea of Serenity Gardens. She had friends that lived there. At 95, she was still outgoing and social. From the beginning, it was a great experience for her. They had activities, a beautiful garden to sit outside, programs for the residents, and a dining hall to socialize at meal times. Every day I would call Ruth in the morning to see what her schedule was. Sometimes I didn't go over until evening because she had so many things to do with activities that she'd tell me to stay home, she was too busy to sit around visiting! I can't say enough about the staff. From Pam, the director, Amy and Trista in the front office, Brandy in nursing, the aids, and dietary staff, everyone was friendly, vigilant, and respectful toward Ruth. Toward the end of her life, they all cared for her and helped me with every aspect of hospice. After being there daily for almost 2 years, the Serenity staff became family to us. It was by far the best decision to trust them with the woman that I loved and worshipped my whole life. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend Serenity Gardens for anyone's loved ones.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful care at Serenity Gardens. I am so blessed with the staffs communication and updates I always receive. I recommend 100% to anyone who is looking for care for their loved one. I'm open to communication for anyone that has questions regarding Serenity Gardens and the care they provide.

Serenity Gardens is a wonderful facility!! We’re so happy with the care they give all their residents - my MIL is healthier since moving there than she’s been in years! The rooms & common spaces are beautiful, and the staff is consistently kind and caring. We truly couldn’t ask for a better place.

My mother has been a resident for 3 yrs. My family and I visit frequently and have observed a consistent caring approach to meeting patient’s needs as they, in the case of my mother, decline. Pleasant environment and a full range of activities and outings enhancing quality of life. Staff always available for updates and questions. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Serenity Gardens while exploring placement options for a loved one. My experience was extremely positive. It was evident that Serenity is a very caring community of people who enjoy what they do. The staff seems to have genuine concern about the individuals entrusted to their care. Melissa, the admissions director was warm, caring, and compassionate. She answered all of my questions and gave me a wealth of information to make an informed decision.
