Shelby Gardens Place

My grandfather moved here before I went to college last year, and within that time he has improved so much. He used to have really bad spells where he wouldn’t know where he was and he became a recluse. But, at Shelby Gardens he’s so much more social and whenever I come in and visit I see him hanging out with other residents or even outside! I’m so grateful for the staff here for making a safe and welcoming environment for myself and my loved ones, and Shelby Gardens is one of the best homes my grandfather has stayed in so far. I couldn’t thank the staff enough for helping my grandfather :)

My family is very pleased with the care provided by Shelby Gardens Place. The staff is very professional. Everyone (nurses, cleaning staff, food services, receptionist, etc.) are always very friendly and respectful to our family member. The facility is kept clean. The activities keep him engaged. We really appreciate the care he is receiving.

Shelby Gardens is a very nice facility. The staff is very friendly and really seem to be invested in providing the best care to the residents. The place is kept clean and they are in the process of making changes to further beautify the residence. They provide many services to accommodate the residents with carefree living. There is always a nurse on duty. The rooms are spacious and the facility is secure. This place has given us peace of mind.

My mother has been living in Shelby Gardens for 6 months now. In I love the care that she is receiving. Kam is one of the nicest people I’ve ever meet, she very caring and loving in so nice and kind to my mom. We definitely made the right decision with bringing my mother here. Everybody is so sweet and welcoming it feels like home away from home when I’m here. The young lady at the front desk always welcome you with a wonderful smile that brightens up your day. Great therapy department! My dad is in Shelby Gardens the therapist there are the best. Since he’s been there they have helped him with his mobility issues. He was having trouble getting up and down and transferring. His mobility is much better than before, he’s even transferring with little assistance now. He still gets a little dizzy with getting up and down but even that has gotten better.
