SHERIDAN AT EASTSIDE, THE

Looked at several places and Sheridan only place with a two bedroom and two car garage which was a must have for me. All the facilities are modern and well maintained, the dining room looks like it came from a nice cruise ship along with the other facilities. The service is excellent, along with the food and the numerous daily activities. The staff is very friendly and quickly address any maintenance issues (usually in the same day). Their motto is you are at a stage in your life where you have worked hard and its our job to have you relax and enjoy your stay here. I know I made the right decision to move here.

My father has lived at this community for over three years, and overall it has been a positive experience for our family. The facility is always clean, the food is good, and there are many activities offered for residents. Since my dad’s move to memory care, we’ve been especially grateful for the attentive, hands-on care team. They are engaged, patient, and clearly invested in the residents, which has brought our family a lot of peace of mind. I also want to recognize the front desk and office staff, who are consistently kind, responsive, and helpful. Navigating elder care can be challenging, and their support makes a real difference. We’re thankful to have our dad in a community where he is safe and cared for!

This move has been like changing for my mom and my family. My mom did not want to leave her house but it had become unsafe for her to be alone there. She actually adapted much better than we anticipated and has flourished since being there and having the social interactions. The staff asked us not to visit for a few days to allow her to settle in and become comfortable with the staff and schedule. While it was difficult for our family to do this. It actually was necessary with my mom, otherwise she would have just kept asking to go home and we would have all had more guilt about moving her. My family has peace of mind, knowing she is safe!

I am so happy I am at the Sheridan. It feels like home and the residents feel like family. The staff is outstanding. There was no high pressure during the sales process and Julia and Renee continue to be open and friendly, any questions or concerns are addressed promptly. The amount of activities is amazing. The 3 activity staff members, Karlie, Nina and Aleyah, do a phenomenal job. I couldn't ask for a better place to feel safe and content in my senior years.

We are very happy that we made the decision to move to the Sheridan at Eastside in Snellville. We have a three bedroom two bath two car garage villa. Although we had to do a considerable amount of downsizing we still have a small home. We have a yard for our little dog. They want you to feel comfortable and at home here. We were able to put up a picket fence for our dog. I have space for my flower garden. We have made a lot of new friends. It’s a very caring community. There are activities and entertainment. My husband especially is pleased with the Parkinson’s support group. The staff is responsive to our needs and requests. The food is good. We have monthly meetings that the staff conducts so we can voice our concerns and questions. I am pleased that l don’t plan meals or cook. Our villa is cleaned and the sheets changed twice a month. The grounds are beautifully maintained all year. If there’s a problem I put in a work order and it’s taken care of by maintenance. I have only praise for the Sheridan It’s a great place to live.
