My husband has been a resident at Sierra Vista for over a year, and he has been so well cared for, I couldn't me more pleased. It is family owned by a couple who sees it as their mission to keep their well-trained staff long-term and their residents happy. It's a small home that feels like a home. The residents--or elders--can walk the common areas and circular hallway freely, as much as they are able, which helps keep them able. I love visiting my husband and his resident friends, who are now my friends too. The staff takes such good care of us all. When my husband had an emergency, choking on his food, the nurse on staff saved his life. The medical personnel at the hospital were very impressed. I know a lot after 10 years of caregiving about how to interact with loved ones with dementia, and I have not once seen an employee here become frustrated, angry, impatient or cold toward any elder. I have a new, extended engaged and understanding family. And that is what we need. I am a wife again, not a full-time caregiver. I have peace of mind at last. Sierra Vista does not have a complicated, ever-changing rate schedule as I've seen elsewhere. No surprises. It's not institutional, no long confusing hallways (even I can find the bathroom here). Not fancy, but homey, with warm colors, and clean. It's furnished for the residents' comfort, not to impress potential clients who need confidence and find it in fancy decor. It's the people that matter. I have no complaints, or I would share them frankly.

The staff at Sierra Vista are so loving. My mom has lived there for a year and a half--her second memory care since her dementia progressed. It was a difficult transition, but my dad and I know she's in wonderful hands. Thank you for all you do, Sierra Vista!

Vista Living takes very good care of my mother. Unlike other facilities, Vista Living works only with Alzheimer’s and dementia residents that require specialized memory care services. This means that staff is better trained and equipped to assist these challenging residents. The facility is comfortable, homey and unpretentious and is designed so that the elders spend their waking time in the common areas, including a wonderful outdoor courtyard. The staff works hard and provides truly loving care for the residents.

Amazing! Can not express or heartfelt gratitude enough! The whole staff is friendly, genuine and professional. The love, care and attention to details is seen in the residents they care for. It was a sudden and difficult change for us. We needed somewhere quickly for my mom. Carol went above and beyond to help us.
