The staff is so kind and responsive to my needs. The food was very good and had variety. They washed my clothes which was a big relief for my wife. The physical and occupational therapy was excellent. If I had the need I would definitely return to this facility.

I normally do not write reviews, but feel compelled to acknowledge the great care I received at Smith Crossing for a recent rehab stay. I especially want to thank CNA Joc, Nurse Cathy, OT Shannon, and PT Renata. All the staff made my stay pleasant and bearable and are a real credit to their professions for their caring and compassion. CNA Joc was a ray of sunshine; I looked forward to my mornings with him. He would bring a smile to my face and allay my anxieties. He is top notch. He gave me excellent care in my transfers and getting me ready for the day. I felt so secure with him. Nurse Cathy, also on the dayshift, is an excellent and seasoned nurse. . She was efficient in her care and was on top of things and always had time to see how I was doing physically and emotionally. These two employees went over and above their service with caring and compassion. OT Shannon was just a delight. I looked forward to seeing her. She was always cheerful and caring. PT. Renata was very knowledgeable and professional. She worked around my limitations and found solutions. All of them should be commended for their service.

My stay at Smith Crossing was wonderful. The nurses, therapist and CNA were the best. I thank Renatta and Maura for their support. Marie and Eugene and Jayne always had a smile. Last but not least I thank Brittany for always smiling and making my day brighter. I would highly recommend Smith Crossing for rehabilitation!

Beautiful surroundings and a great place for Independent Living HOWEVER….. once a resident is in need of care (in my experience and my opinion only)there’s not enough staff to help.(Mom has been there since 2006 and at 98 needs the assistance and care promised) The CNA’s work constantly and are Incredible with the Residents but there are not enough of them. I was told “We meet the States Minimum Standards” by a Nurse at Smith Crossing ! ARE YOU KIDDING ME…. ? After 18 years apparently they’re happy to roll you into a corner where you won’t bother anyone and if your loved one does need care you need to hire private help ? I’ve contacted Smith Crossing in an attempt to express My opinions and communicate my observations. As the price increases the quality of care and concern DECREASES. Constant UTI’s and rounds of antibiotics without testing to see if there is a reason. Special diet… up charges and not enough honey thick fluids on hand. Let’s just mix the clumping powder in and not worry about it. I’m throughly disappointed with the responses I received. I guess being told it doesn’t behoove my Mother who’s been a resident since 2006 for me to leave a bad review ?? Medicare rates them a 2 star facility with a quality measure rating of 1 star. I went in my Mom’s room to get her glasses and a cup of thickened liquids from 5 days ago was on her nightstand with a spoon 🥄 ARE YOU KIDDING ME …..My Mom passed recently at 99yrs and 14 days ! She was ready and my sisters and I were able to say Goodbye and we Love you. I guess now I can leave my review and not be told it won’t behoove her anymore. On I go… The CNA’s that are on Staff are Wonderfully Fantaboulous 💞the traveling or fill ins are not ! You can tell who’s there for a paycheck vs there for residents. I miss the residents something fierce, I went every Weekend and now it’s missing. The first problem we encountered was Theresa the nurse in Memory Care who pretty much wrote off my Mom 4 years before she passed…. She was in my opinion not a compassionate or caring person but she tried to tell me how she snd her husband were so charitable….so, why do ya gotta brag about it ? I am expressing My Opinion Only.

My parents have been at Smith Crossing for over 6 months and thoroughly enjoy their new home - the staff, the residents, and their surroundings! Due to changing needs, we have had a parent in independent living, assisted living, assisted living with memory care, and skilled nursing. In each location, my parents have been treated respectfully and with sincere care and concern. When we visit, it is clear that staff members know both my parents by name, along with their unique needs. In particular, both Mike and Gabby have been exceptionally warm and accommodating to both my parents as they moved to Smith Crossing and transitioned to different living arrangements. Knowing that my parents are in a safe and caring environment gives me great comfort and peace of mind. I highly recommend Smith Crossing as a senior living community!
