SOMERBY PEACHTREE CITY

In the short time my mother has lived at Somerby, we’ve experienced it as exceptionally well-organized and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of activities that keep residents active and connected. Yesterday evening we attended a live music event on the lawn, and it was really well done. Staff treat residents with respect and warmth, and show understanding for this stage of life—both for residents and their families. We’re very happy to have found them.

My parents moved in last spring from SC. The staff all were so very helpful with the big transition. From the greeters at the front desk (Cynthia!) to the handymen who helped install a couple of items...everyone made the move so easy. Leslie, Pat and Logan are an awesome team to work with! Mom and Dad enjoy meeting new friends from all over the nation! The (almost daily!) card and board games have kept them on their toes!!! While cornhole and happy hour entertainment has been loads of fun and laughter. I cannot be happier with Somerby PTC. Everything is clean, organized and very well maintained. I looked at several places in the area, and we are very happy with our decision.

Somerby staff have became like a second family. Everyone has been so nice. Knowing Mom is safe and well taken care of, has been comforting. She is enjoying making knew friends and is very involved in the activities.

My dad lived at Somerby independent living for about four years. It was a wonderful experience. The community is beautifully updated. It is light and airy. The staff is exceptional. Pat, Logan and Cynthia and many others go above and beyond. The community has so many activities that residents can enjoy. It feels like my dad lived on a cruise ship with all the daily activity options. They even host community events such as Halloween trick or treating with bounce houses and a petting zoo for family members. They have a regular Elvis impersonator who is excellent. They bring in great talent for their happy hours. His room had a lovely view of a beautiful garden area and a lovely patio. They treated us so kindly after my dad passed. We are very grateful for the time my dad had at Somerby.

My father has been living at Somerby for quite some time, first in a villa and now apartment and loves it! He recently had pneumonia and needed a little extra attention so he spent some time in respite care until he got strong enough to get back to his independent life. He really enjoys the pool, gym and especially Happy Hour!!! He loves when “Elvis” comes to perform. The staff is wonderful and genuinely cares about the residents!! Glad we have such a wonderful place for Dad so close to home!!
