South Haven Personal Care Home has proven to be a hidden gem in the care of my ex-husband with dementia. When trying to navigate the process to find a new care home for him after a horrific experience, Edward was a invaluable source of information to my endless questions. He was very informed about the process we were navigating, knowledgeable of the particular type of dementia we were dealing with, and explained how they would provide care consistent with his needs. They keep the family updated as necessary, and the staff are always friendly when we call or visit. Their daily routine, hygiene care, medical assistance, meals and activities have made the dementia journey so much easier for not only the patient but the family, too. A sincere thank you to Edward and the staff at Southaven.

The most important thing that you look for when you're placing a loved one in a care home how they will be treated. it is the most important thing in your heart concerning your family member. I have a sister that is in the care of Southaven . And I must say that she receives excellent care. the staff is like family and they treat her like family. The food is really good , I have had dinner there along with other family members. this has been the first time a care home facility has ever offered me dinner. And thank you for that . the owner and her staff are very professional. And always answer any questions you have an definitely will call you and let you know anything that's going on with your family member . I really appreciate that. They also have a prom every year for the residents, at a beautiful hotel Residence family are invited. And the residents are so excited to get dressed up to go to the prom. This is the first place that I know of to even do something like that for the residence. The residents that live there are like my extended family. I personally gotten to know them and spend time with all of them. I look forward to seeing them and my sister. I enjoy every time I go there, I take my sister out for walks and outings . it is like my second home to me and I get to see all my aunts and uncles:) This is my personal experience and this is a truthful statement from a family member who has a sister that lives at Southaven.

This is one the worst assistant living that I know, my dad was a resident there and when passed, no call offering our condolences, not even come get his belongings. My dad complained all the time. They don’t even have a stove to cook on. Sad

My dad just died here on Monday July 13, 2020, no one reached out from this place, until this day. The only person that Is true in this place in Veroncia. I would not recommend this place
