South Mountain Memory Care was the ideal place for my dad who suffered from vascular dementia. From the first visit until the last, the entire staff made the family feel comfortable with this difficult decision. The smallness of the facility combined with the home-like feel and warmth of the staff were a few of the reasons why we chose and stayed with SMMC. Their continued readiness to modify their processes to accommodate my father’s moods and changes in personality showed their compassion towards him. Even at his most difficult, they had continued patience and suggestions to try to make him happy. The facility is open to families 24/7 which was a plus at the end when we wanted to ensure he was with family. I can’t say enough positive things about the entire staff and their willingness to work with the families and make the patients feel at home.

South Mountain Memory Care is a wonderful place, a beautiful facility with a great and caring staff. We looked at many places before choosing this facility for my husband, and as soon as we got to know this place and the people, we knew this was the perfect place for him. The price is very reasonable in comparison with the quality of the care provided. We couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thanks to everyone at SMMC for all they do!

South Mountain has gone above and beyond for my family since day one. We were at another facility in the area that was horribly mismanaged. After identifying medical errors in my mom’s care at her first facility, I found South Mountain. Careen was empathetic, knowledgeable and caring - she was a delight to work with during that incredibly stressful time. Luckily, the team at South Mountain was able to get my mom transferred into their facility quickly. We have been there now almost one year and it has been a huge relief to know my mom is well cared for. I highly recommend South Mountain to anyone considering a memory care facility.

Faced with the difficult decision of moving our loved one to memory care was not easy. After much research and a few visits, Careen and the team at SMMC made our decision less stressful by showing concern, compassion, and respect for our loved one. The "small house" model is exactly as described, warm and welcoming. From day one, the team provided the support needed to us and our loved one. The team takes the time to know each resident and engage with them on a daily basis. The care is genuine. We are forever grateful.

Placing a loved one in a Memory Care facility is a very difficult decision but South Mountain Memory Care is a welcoming community for a loved one with dementia. The staff is very patient, kind and knowledgeable. No questions or concerns go unanswered. The facility is clean and safe for the residents to freely move around independently. The residents are encouraged to participate in the many daily activities. We are very happy with our Mother’s care at this facility.
