SPANISH OAKS RETREAT

Overall, many staff members were caring and supportive, but I had concerns about communication and transparency from management after my mother’s passing. I received conflicting explanations about a serious incident, which was deeply upsetting. I hope the facility strengthens oversight and ensures families receive clear and honest information.

I was updating my info on Spanish Oaks to give to a friend when I realized that I must not ever have offered a review. My husband passed away four years ago and I have to say that I still remember how wonderful the staff was to my husband while he was there. The setting is lovely and calming and the rooms do not look like "hospital rooms." My husband was always well cared for with expertise and kindness and that was an immense relief to me. I left there after visiting him, knowing that he felt content there. After four years, I still offer my thanks to the staff there!
