SPRINGBROOKE RETIREMENT AND ASSISTED LIVING

Excellent, caring community. Good food, activities. Very reasonably priced. Staff smiles a lot.

As an ER nurse in the Denver area who has had one interaction with this facility so far I feel it is unsafe and negligent. Having attempted to discharge a patient back to their facility we were unable to contact the facility and the ambulance transporting the patient back could not gain access as there was no one available to answer the door or the only phone number listed for the facility. This is patient abandonment, unsafe for patients who live in the facility, and places the patient at increased risk for exposure to infection as they were forced to return to the emergency room to spend the night!

MAILBOX IS FULL. No other way to contact. Do not have staff to attend to their hospitalized patients who just want to go home?? In the case I witnessed, they seem to have abandoned one of their memory care patients at the hospital with no way for medical staff to bring them back as, when they tried, they couldn't get in, there was no one to let them in, and they had no way to contact anyone inside other than the straight to FULL voicemail number listed on their site

Fanny the Executive Director is the most professional, understanding, nicest person. I SO appreciate the care she gave to my dad while he was a resident at Springbrook.

We can't say enough about the staff and facilities at Springbrooke. Having had experience with relatives and friends at other retirement villages in Colorado and elsewhere, Springbrooke is a revelation. The facilities and setup are awesome and residents have tons options for activities both at Springbrooke and around town. The location is perfect with grocery, medical facilities, restaurants, etc. nearby and it's a safe environment. Most important to us, the staff are friendly and attentive and go out of their way to engage with and look after residents. They have a nice hybrid "assisted" program where residents can stay in their independent apartments and receive additional services as needed without having to move to the assisted wing. We evaluated six other facilities and settled on Springbrooke and have no regrets.
