Kathleen C. Recently came in for rehab therapy. She said this facility is the best to be at for rehab therapy, she is beyond grateful with her experience here. Kathleen said during her time here she loved the staff, everyone had very warm, loveing and pleasant attitude. The hospitality that Claudia Schulz-admissions manager- offered during the search for a Rehab place was one of the things that made her choose St. Joseph Village. Kathleen said the rehab team is amazing as well and being able to make new friends during therapy and on her floor was a just a plus! She said she will absolutely recommend this facility for anyone who asks about a wonderful rehab place.

The staff are professional from housekeeping to administrator. The nursing staff are attentive and timely. I've been visiting seversl facilities assessing which would be best for Grandma. I feel like dietary is something most people complain about if you fix that you'd get 5 stars.

St Joseph’s Rehabilitation Facility has an excellent staff who go above and beyond the call of duty, the staff is always courteous and helpful and the physical therapy unit is one of the best in Chicago IL I recently recommended St Joseph’s to a friend of mine for her husbands care, and she said she could never thank me enough for the recommendation. I would recommend St Joseph’s to any family member or friend who needed rehabilitation services.

So my mom fell and broke a bone I reached out to her insurance and they gave me this place and said they were accepting new patients. So I drove up there to check it out and met Sarah she gave me the tour and told me two people had just left from being rehabbed, great, right no. I went Saturday and the social worker sent the paperwork Monday, I received a call from CJ from the assisted side and she was pleasantly informative about the possibility of mom being places. So when I just found out she wasn’t accepted and denied due to them saying she needed longer than the 6 months of physical therapy.I was saddened because I feel she was declined due to her race. Prior when I did the tour the staff was nice but I did notice no diversity in the patients and thought that wouldn’t matter due to the people I spoke to being very nice and respectful. But unfortunately when I spoke to someone at the hospital they said that this facility rarely takes black patients 😞. So if you black or look black don’t apply you will be denied even if they have rooms and told they do not. Will be posting about this on all my socials letting people know imagine finding a good place and damn near crying about it and then told there’s no room smh shame on you call yourself believers in Christ first nursing home in Chicago most of only been for whites and white adjacent btw it didn’t take 5 days for what you knew in one.

My dad was only there for a short time after a hospital stay but I have to say out of the 5+ nursing homes we’ve used throughout the years, this one is by far the best. It is incredibly clean, and the decor is very up-to-date. The nurses and CNA‘s were very attentive, knowledgeable, super friendly and personable. Although my dad was too sick to participate, they had extensive programming every day and the other residents looked very happy and well taken care of.
