STERLING ESTATES SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

Having spent many hours visiting with both my Aunt AND my Dad, (both residents at Sterling Estates of East Cobb) I feel confidently qualified to evaluate this community as one of the best in all of the southern United States! I also teach art classes in many of the senior communities in northern Georgia so I have experienced up close and personal the various communities.. I always come to the conclusion my Father and Aunt made a wise decision to make Sterling estates their home!

Our dad moved to Sterling Estates of East Cobb in February after our mom passed away last September. After being together for 64 years, we were initially concerned how he would adapt to his new social situation and this new environment. We were so relieved that our concerns were short-lived. Shelly was wonderful in overseeing all the details associated with the transition and the staff at Sterling Estates of East Cobb has been amazing. Dad has felt so welcomed and cared for. He is still impressed that the staff all seem to know his name and we couldn’t be any happier with the experience so far. Our family continues to be reminded of what a great decision it was to choose Sterling Estates as Dad regularly makes comments to us about what a wonderful place it is.

Our father moved into Sterling Estates East Cobb in February and was thrilled the first week. He said he wasn’t sure what their training process is, but that every person he encountered knew his name and he felt like a part of a community versus just another person. He has been thrilled with all of the activities, the gym workouts and raves about the meals being excellent! We are thrilled he is so happy!

Our mom moved from Virginia to Sterling Estates of East Cobb a year ago, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The transition to this retirement community was much smoother than we anticipated. The staff, dining and activities have all exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Sterling Estates to anyone looking for a retirement home and community.

Sterling Estates of East Cobb has been the most perfect fit and BEST move for our Mom! Since her move to Sterling Estates 4 months ago, she has become a new, much healthier person! With all of wonderful catered care she is receiving from the EXCELLENT staff and caregivers at Sterling Estates East Cobb Assisted Living, her back and other health concerns are no longer preventing her from enjoying life. She has become so active with all of the daily festivities and fun activities that we often have to schedule a time to visit so that we don’t interrupt a special event! Sterling does a great job of including the families in special events such as an ice cream truck social or the Fall Festival. She tells us that she is so very happy in her new home and that she has made so many new really good friends! She loves her knitting class where she has learned to knit and is making her grand- and great-grand children Christmas presents! Bingo, karaoke, field trips, church services, movies, week-long themed events like Germany cruise week, etc. all provide such fun and exciting activities for our Mom and for all of the residents! We are beyond grateful for all of the wonderful directors, staff, nurses, caregivers, technicians, and every single helper who all work so hard everyday with a smile on their face to make Sterling Estates the BEST place to live for our Mom!!!
