My mom is a resident at Stones River, the nurses are very communicative, very well pleased with care she is given not only by the nurses but all the techs, cleaning staff and the dining room staff. 5 stars definitely!!

My sister was at Stones River Manor, I couldn’t ask for better care. She was treated with love, compassion and with upmost respect. If anyone is looking for home away from home yourself, or a family member I suggest giving Stones River Manor your consideration you will not be disappointed.

If you are considering placing a loved one here PLEASE!!! Do your DUE DILIGENCE!!!, don’t judge a book by its cover…this place is VERY deceptive…from BED BUGS to just plain BUGS in the beds in general..the food is ATROCIOUS, residents constantly complain about it which falls on DEAF EARS..the care is minimal at best, there are those who do a GREAT job but can’t make up for all the slackers, employees are NOT held accountable for their actions. Admin will be deceptive and cover up issues, most of the positive reviews on here are from admin employees and current employees, this is one of the ONLY places we have found that is STRICTLY against use of cameras in residents rooms..PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK when it comes to this facility!!

We will be forever grateful for Stones River Manor for the care you gave to our precious father, Dr. John David Thomas. From the moment we walked in to tour Stones River Manor with Mike, we realized this was a special place. A place Dad could call home. Dad wanted his own space, and a community to spend his days with, while still having the ability to visit our homes close by. Dad enjoyed having a wide selection of events to choose from each week. His favorites were bible study with Kirk, countryside cruises with Shannon, restaurant outings, and all of the live music performances. Dad was proud to live at Stones River Manor and loved taking his visitors to the garden room or gazebo to show it off. When Dad's health began declining and it was time to transition to hospice we were so grateful for the ability for Dad to truly age in place, in his own space at the Manor. The fact Dad's nurses and RAs were there caring for him, with us, until the end was such a comfort and blessing to him and to us. We felt Gentiva and Stones River Manor complimented each other so well during this time. I hesitate to use names because I don't mean to leave anyone out. Dad was blessed by so many caregivers at the Manor. I do want to say a special thank you to Melissa, Marie, Alexis, Terri, Edith, Deanna, Paige, Charlene and Laronda for their hands-on loving care for Dad. You each treated Dad with dignity and kindness, and we will be forever grateful. Sincerely, Linda, Laura, Lisa (The Thomas girls) and family

5 stars is not adequate enough to describe the staff at Stones River. Before you choose a home for your mother or father, walk through several and then come to Stones River. This is a non-for profit facility so their ratio of staff to resident is off the chart. The previous place my mom was in there was one nurse for the entire facility. This place has a nurse per hallway.
