This assisted living facility is absolutely wonderful. The building itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, while the apartments feel warm, comfortable, and truly home-like rather than institutional. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely kind—they take the time to know residents and make sure everyone feels supported and respected. One of the highlights is the lovely outdoor pond area next to the facility, which provides a peaceful place to relax, walk, and enjoy nature. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming environment where residents can feel at home. Highly recommended.

Suites of Ankeny is a beautiful, modern-looking facility with extremely caring staff. It is adjacent to an outdoor fenced-in pond area where residents can sit outdoors observing nature in peace. Staff are polite and friendly.

For $4,000 per month I expected to get at least what they told me we would get when we signed the papers. My mother was lucky to get one shower each week. Her apartment was cleaned twice in 8 weeks. A staff member even told me that my mother laid on the floor after a fall for an hour after pushing her alert button before anyone came to help her. Rarely would anyone answer the front desk phone. Several other families joked about how they never seemed to answer the front bell either. If the problem is that they are short staffed, that would've been nice to know before hand.
