SUMMITVIEW TERRACE ASSISTED LIVING

My sister and I recently made an unannounced "visit" to Summit View Terrace on behalf of our elderly mother whom may be in need of some assistance opposed to her current "independent" living situation. A person in the medical field suggested we take a look at it as they frequent the facility as a part of their employment and had positive words to say about it. We were impressed. We did the sniff test as we entered thru the doors and found no indication of odors...and better yet...no use of air fresheners, febreeze etc to cover up odors. It was clean and peaceful with a homey feel. We wandered around a bit until we were greeted by Carol. She was awesome. Down to earth, pleasant and very informative. She gave us a tour and we were so shocked when we asked how many residents reside there! Only 25 which is great! The private room was a good sized room, comfortable and the walk in shower was a huge bonus. The staff we met along the tour were very nice. The building is open and airy with tons of space. Summit View will definitely be the go to place if and when our mother is ready! We didn't even know it existed! Keep up the good work!

My family members stayed at Summitview for a little more than a year and we all had a wonderful experience. The staff truly cared about her health and well being. The director of nursing services is excellent. The staff and community is an A+ in my book.

Wonderful place for those in need of assisted living care. The staff is attentive, caring, and dedicated. The Director of Nursing, Nina, is compassionate, knowledgeable, and diligent. The Activities Director, Tracy, is dynamic and effervescent. Numerous activities are available to the residents. The physical facility itself is clean, well maintained, and spacious, and is located in a beautiful rural setting. If you want confirmation that your loved one is in the right place, just look at the smiling faces and cheerful demeanor of the residents of SummitView Terrace.

This place is REALLY nice. My grandmother has been here a couple of years. She is really happy and loves the staff. This is not your stereotypical nursing home. They go above and beyond to make your loved ones comfortable and always have many activities. Weekly live music, large group games like bingo, and wonderful holiday activities. The rooms are really nice too. Honestly I can go on and on. I am really happy my grandmother is here.

I chose SummitView for the location, atmosphere, staffing, & pricing. I toured a lot of facilities before I made a decision. My mother likes it there & she feels safe. Staff is attentive & knowledgeable of the individual residents needs. If an issue is brought to there attention, they address it. Plenty of things to choose from on the activities schedule each month.
