SUNRISE AT FLATIRONS

My dad was at sunrise for a little over a month before he passed away, in the memory care unit. Everyone on that floor is exceptional with their care, especially Irma. Luke, the activity director is wonderful as well. The staff did a great job taking care of our dad! They were also great with helping us cope with the things we were experiencing with our dad's health decline. Very kind and personable. The care manager on the memory floor, Brittni, lacks communication all around. Stormy, the building RN is less than personable. She seems to blame a lot of faults on other people and is not one to take much accountability. If you're choosing sunrise, be an advocate for your loved one and spend time with them as much as possible so simple things don't get swept under the rug from the hire ups. The price you pay here is insane. Giving 4 stars for the care givers on the memory floor.

Sunrise Flatirons is a great senior community. They take the best care for their residents and their family’s, and also work great with the outside community and Vendors who frequent their community. I’ve worked with Amy, Stormy, Lauren, Ginny, Mary Cruz, Kelsey, Crystal, Irma and Kim. They are all top notch in their field and l look forward to working with them all in the future!

This facility’s staff is very attentive to residents and the culture is inclusive and warm! Specific to the nursing team I have interacted with, Lauren and Amy are incredible nurses and are so genuine with all residents. Stormy is responsive to all issues. Crystal is a joy to be around with lots of experience. I have seen Betsy touring and appears knowledgable and patient, answering all future resident questions. In the memory care community, I have seen Mary and Dolma making multiple residents smile and engaged. Would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a senior living community.

My parents have been in Reminiscence since spring '24. We chose Sunrise because they assured us they can work with my Mom's hoyer lift needs, and take care of them regardless of future disabilities that may arise. Blit was a bonus that they allowed them to have a cat. All the Sunrise staff are excellent. Standards are very high and we have been treated with great compassion. Standouts that have made a significant difference for my parents health, engagement and comfort include Irma, Mary Cruz, Luke, Jampa, Anthony, Amy (nurse) Brittni and Necie. Irma and Brittni even text back and forth about issues and needs with me, which makes everything easier. Thank you Sunrise staff for all you are doing! My parents have lived in four area senior facilities. Sunrise has my top recommendation.

My mom has been living at Sunrise Senior Living, and I can honestly say the care and kindness she receives here has brought peace of mind to our whole family. From the moment you walk in, Angie at the front desk sets the tone—always welcoming, cheerful, and quick to help with anything we need. She makes visitors feel like family, not just guests. Issac goes above and beyond every day. He’s attentive, compassionate, and always willing to step in with a smile. His presence brings both comfort and reassurance, not just to my mom but to us as her loved ones. The nursing team is outstanding. Amy, the nurse, is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely listens to concerns. She takes time to explain things clearly and treats my mom with respect and dignity. Dawa, another nurse, provides the same level of gentle, professional care—her warmth makes such a difference on the tough days. And Marisela, the care coordinator, is truly the glue that holds it all together. She’s organized, responsive, and clearly invested in making sure each resident’s needs are met with both efficiency and heart. It’s rare to find a place where every staff member feels like an extended part of your family, but Sunrise has created exactly that environment. We’re grateful every day for the team who makes my mom’s life brighter, safer, and more connected.
