SUNRISE OF DECATUR

This facility has been so perfect for my spouse. Wonderful staff and wonderful facility. Especially love that there is a "house dog" for everyone to pet.

My wife has been a resident on the Memory Care Unit for a year. Her care is excellent & I highly recommend Sunrise. I feel very comfortable with her living at Sunrise & appreciate the caring of the caregivers & staff. I lived on 1st floor Assisted Living for 4 months when my wife moved in. I found the food great, staff very caring & the price reasonable. I highly recommend Sunrise!

I put my family member in Sunrises of Decatur this was the biggest mistake I made from the Executive,Sale,,Med tech, Residential Care. All of the above are inexperience people They all need excessive trainingThe goals are driven by Money, not the Care of the residence. This place is NOT CLEAN , This place is Infested badly with Roaches and bugs. My family member medication was not given when it should have been and they stated that something was wrong with him however, you know if you are not giving your medication yes, there can be reaction from not taking it. So if you have love ones in this, place please check on them constantly Because this place Need some changes like ASAP.

We've been very happy with the assisted living community where my father resides. The caretakers are truly excellent—they genuinely care about each individual resident. The med-techs are precise, knowledgeable, and consistently timely with medications. Overall, the staff is outstanding: responsive, communicative, and always ready to help solve problems. The community itself is welcoming and inclusive, with a warm, home-like atmosphere (pets included!), and the cleanliness and upkeep are consistently impressive. No place is perfect, but this one comes very close.

I had the opportunity of attending an event with some friends here.The exterior of the community is well maintained. I like the warm feeling that you get when you enter. The workers were very attentive to the residents. The atmosphere was happy. The people that live there were pleasant and complimented the staff. The chef Kirk and his team made some tasty dishes. I enjoyed the appetizers. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise Decatur for all you do for the elderly.
