Sunrise of Fountain Square

My dad lives in the independent residential sunrise and our family and him are very happy. The staff, and other residents are friendly and helpful, the meals are fresh and great selections, the building is clean and they are responsive to maintenance issues. Thank you!!

My grandma was a resident in memory care at Sunrise for a few months. While some staff were kind, the meals were good, and there were activities she enjoyed, we were ultimately dissatisfied with our experience and would not recommend to others. Our main concerns were safety, cleanliness, and overall quality of care. There is a dog that roams freely in the lobby and was consistently aggressive toward me and my young nephews. The dog snarled, jumped up at us, and clearly had issues around children. This made visits stressful and unsafe. An aggressive dog should not be allowed to roam freely in a facility where vulnerable residents, children, and visitors are present. Staff did offer to crate the dog if we called ahead but this didn’t feel like a sufficient solution. We also felt the facility was not as clean as it should be and were disappointed with the level of care provided.

Sunrise Fountain Square's caregivers, director, nurses, and all the other staff are amazing. They provided the best care for my mom. We had peace knowing that she was safe and well taken care of. They always paid attention to her and to the other residents as well. They really care and feel like extended family to us. We feel so lucky to have found Sunrise Fountain Square and everyone there. The facility is lovely and clean. The food is delicious. There are activities to get the residents involved. We highly recommend Sunrise Fountain Square.

My aunt lived at Sunrise for 3 years before she passed last month. She LOVED living there. She really enjoyed the other residents and thought the staff was wonderful. The manager at sunrise is exceptionally good and handled so many issues rapidly and professionally. I highly recommend Sunrise to anyone looking to be part of an engaging and loving community.

Our mom has been at Sunrise at Fountain Square on the Reminiscence floor for almost 4 months now. The coordinator, care managers, nurses and concierge - really all the staff have been wonderful and go out of their way to help my mom. My mom is safe and well cared for. She enjoys the activities such as exercise, sing-a-longs, bingo, and trivia, and when they learned my mom likes to garden, they purchased plants for my mom to plant and take care of on the patio. We also really appreciate how the coordinator, Mark, keeps in touch with us and shares photos of my mom enjoying the different activities. We are so grateful to the staff for everything they do. We highly recommend this assisted living facility.
