The benchmark Senior Living community has been a wonderful home for our grandmother. The community has so much to offer to keep the residents engaged and involved . The staff are friendly, responsive to needs, and go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable. The facility itself is clean and well maintained and we are comfortable knowing that our grandmother is being well cared for each day.

During the 4 months my mother was in Memory Care at Sunrise, she was well cared for and treated with respect. The team is very kind and compassionate and the residents are all lovely. Sunrise of Stamford is a small, homey environment and we enjoyed moms time there more than the high rise facility down the street, which turned out not to be a good fit for my mother. If you are looking for a small facility with caring people, this is the place. If you want new and shiny, this is not it. I only wish I had moved my mother here 18 months ago when she first went into Assisted Living. 😢

My mother has resided at Sunrise of Stamford for 6 years. The work and dedication by the nurses, the hospitality staff, and the dining staff is always first class. The staff is friendly, always available to the residents and their families, and attends to their business with wide smiles and pleasant greetings for all. I have observed staff members engaged in many projects involving art, music, crafts, singing, dancing, and enjoying nightly feature films right along with the residents. Sunrise families have the opportunity to share stories with one another in order to immerse ourselves in the activities and lives of our loved ones at Sunrise of Stamford. Our family is delighted with the life our mother leads.
